Richard has been giving talks on non-duality since 2005 and has written four books about it, including the much-loved little classic ‘I Hope You Die Soon’. His fifth book, ‘Confessions of a Seeker’ is about his many years as a spiritual seeker but it also includes chapters on free will, consciousness and religion. It is sometimes extremely funny (one reader laughed so much she had to stop reading it in public places) and sometimes profoundly serious.

‘I’ am hearing this message from many sources: that movement and stillness are in no way different, and the experience of this does occur. And that this is a dream. In a ‘moment’ this is apparently seen; in a ‘moment’ the belief in a ‘person’ reappears. The apparent mind seems to cling on to the appearance, turning it - whatever - into a story ‘again’. Hello. When people talk about the nature of consciousness, i wonder - does it really matter? Perhaps it would be more fruitful to become the being inside everyone, aka the Soul. It is a separate consciousness, not human.
So teach how to become one with the Father. How to become that I Am.
It cannot be taught because you already are Spirit. It can be remembered though .
I practice constantly being the watcher of the character person I think I am. I realize that all thoughts are lies . I recognize I am not the thinker of those thoughts , the ego is and I find it is universally one as I am. It a game we played and now the dream is ending . And the beginning is starting once more.
Hope you don’t mind my comment . Words are symbols twice removed from reality and so I feel like talking is not communication , but presence is , full presence now , no past and no future
In the present now. I crave that space now but find myself taking the bait over and over again. This talk is literally setting me free today .
