I like how both Gordon and Master Chief are completely content in this low poly, DS style world. Neither one is complaining about the downgrade.
That's cause Gordon has already experienced having fewer polygons, just look at the HL1 Playermodel.
It beats being a completely still version of your old model without any textures in the sequel that is known for having amazing graphics and physics.
Chief is still higher poly than everyone else so he can't really complain

I like how John is better than the slayer at a video game likely because of his spartan reaction speeds, while the slayer can just beat the ever living fuck out of gods with his bare hands

Love that you showed Gordon actually wearing the HEV suit with the helmet on! So weird to me how he is never depicted like that.
He looks better there anyways, I've always assumed he kept the helmet on throughout the entire game, the reason why he doesn't have one in promotional artworks is because, well...promotional.
