    Last year I ordered a bag of the BAM “T” shot (.20 cal). It actually measures (.219) but it patterns great, I have an old Sharp Shooter mold for “T” buck but it takes a lot of casting sessions to accumulate enough to load up. Great video! Been with you over 10 years Wade, I appreciate all that you do.

    Wade, you can throw that BAM directly from the bag into a cement mixer with the paddles removed and have it black and shiny in an hour.

    I got a couple 22Lb bags of their 00+ the price is right but that stuff is nasty when you get it. I ended up putting it in my wet tumbler without the pins, cleaned it right up with some dawn in the mix.

    Hey Mr. Rush,
    I've got something that I think you're really gonna wanna see. I recently did an 88 shot mylar wrap test( different thicknesses) and stumbled across something very interesting. The "too long didn't read" version is the data highly suggests that there are "nodes" for the wrap thickness. Similar to seating depth nodes in rifle reloading. If you(or anyone who reads this) want to see the data, I'd love to email it to you. If you would like to see all of it, just let me know. This data is open to anyone who would like to see it, just let me know.
    Thanks,
    Respectfully,
    Joe

    I polish my old oxidized and tarnished loose bulk “unloaded” projectiles in my rock tumbler. A good four hours and they look better than new again.

    What type of tumbler media is used, during the tumbling process?

      I took the SS pins out of my wet tumbler and just tumbled the shot on itself. Worked great.

    Is buffer necessary for BAM shot due to its hardness?

    WADE: Instead of hair dryer, why not just put 'em in the oven for 30 minutes at 250 degrees?

    • @BubbaRountreeOutdoors
      @BubbaRountreeOutdoors  Před 2 měsíci +1

      You can place em in the oven. Or put em on the front porch in this heat!!

      Lead is only bad if it gets into your system through respiration or ingestion. Hand washing before eating, and proper ventilation when casting is all that's needed when handling lead.

    So why not leave the graphite on it? I have plenty of the BAM #1 buck and #4 birdshot.

    • @BubbaRountreeOutdoors
      @BubbaRountreeOutdoors  Před 2 měsíci

      It's a couple reasons; the pellets are round-ish but that tumble helps smooth out a lot of imperfections. That's my main reason. I use a full length wad most times so I don't really need the pellets to be treated with Graphite.
