My Epic National Park Bucket List Journey Episode 12; Mammoth Cave National Park

Welcome to National Park #47, Mammoth Cave! I spent 5 beautiful days exploring this park’s above ground and underground features. This park has so much to offer; history, hiking, biking, caving, camping, canoeing and more! I highly recommend this National Park, there’s so much to see and do! Also included is a trip to Andrew Jackson's Hermitage just east of Nashville, and I'll answer the question if Kentucky Fried Chicken is better in Kentucky. I am very claustrophobic and this video gave me chills. Thank you for showing your trip as I would never go into another cave (went in a few in my younger days) but enjoy seeing them on videos.

I like caves pretty well, but I have to admit that Fat Man's Misery gave me the willies! Love the look of the lantern tour, though.

I love caves, but alas I think that Mammoth Cave will be my last underground tour on this trip, but we’ll see!

Thanks for sharing! We are working on our state parks (Texas) and will no doubt add National Parks to the list eventually! We just did Caprock Canyons in Texas (just South of Amarillo). Incredible what this country has to offer!

You really captured the essence of Mammoth Cave! We were able to take the ferry the day after you left which allowed us to do the Sal Hallow trail and still catch the ferry to return to the campsite. So sorry it wasn’t working during your stay! ~Kathy and Tony
