Sensational
I just made my first Polaroid with the Polaroid Lab. As a huge Polaroid fan I’m absolutely thrilled about this device. I can now transfer my best DSLR photos to a Polaroid. Big thanks to the developers of the Polaroid Lab.
I bought the polaroid lab in Puerto Rico very good. much success
As the "King of the Lab" from the Instant Lab days (and having one of my images used in its advertising) this is an amazing upgrade! And great job on the tutorial and overview Oskar!
I'm using a Polaroid lab. At the very bottom edge of the image, the last 2 millimetres, it keeps double exposing so there is slither of double image. Nothing I try is curing this. Polaroid have proved useless and have nothing relevant to say.. In put welcome?
I was looking to see if Polaroid released a printer like the Hi·Print, but for 600/i-type paper, since I prefer that format more than the Wide of the Instax (Fujifilm) printer. I see an ad for one that looks like that, it says "Transform digital photos from your phone into real life Polaroid photographs"... I get really excited, ready to buy it... And I find a camera that takes pictures of your phone screen , and that's what you get on paper... 😵💫
I mean, Polaroid does THIS, and yet doesn't release a NORMAL printer to just get the prints from the native file.
I must be very confused with the logic of marketing. So to buy the Instax.
this is extremely well made!
This is great! But costly but may be worth it I found out you cant take ploroids and get an image from, your phone especially FB and phone gallery's but this somehow gives hope thanks
The lab also causes an outer circular dark clouding or vignetting. The only way to remove this, is to scan and work an image in photoshop. That is very problematic. In theory the lab is a great idea, but it appears, falls well short.. Does anyone have a solution for this vignetting problem?
Is there a video that helps to find out out why lab isn’t printing ..😢 my lab seems to act fine! When it comes to printing it does the same process as any but won’t print. Like it can’t reach the film .. and light turns off like I just used one but I didn’t ..
While I consider buying a device that scans the glass screen of my phone, I'm going to go ahead and print some amazing digital photos wirelessly onto affordable paper and make the images square like the Polaroids my dad used to take.
Are you supposed to push it back down when you're done??
Take your case off and disable things like True Tone and Night Shift?
thank you oskar very cool
what if all the processes have been passed but the photos don't come out, does the black band that slightly comes out make the film paper unreadable?
Hi there, how can i turn private photo to public? It doesn't ask me in the beginning so now i have an AR picture printed with the lab but it won't work with someone else's app. I tried to log in to my acc from someone else's phone it doesn't work like that either. What do i do? Thanks
I bought the polaroid in Puerto Rico very good. much success
It’s very nice?
Very nice, Great success. -Borat
Please rerelease the scan adapter from ages ago!
I didn’t know you push it down to turn it off now I’m scared to push it 😂😂
I have a 636 closeup from 1996 and when i saw polariod lab compatibility on the 600 B and W film i had to check it out
my pictures won’t print and come out
what typewriter is that?
Hello, We are trying to perfectly reproduce an actual polaroid photo and are currently using a scanner Epson V600, photoshop and the polaroid lab. All looks great until we use the lab. The results are awful, really awful. Is there a way of reproducing polaroid photos like for like?
Sweet, now I can collage/summon Exodia The Forbidden One
You should create a device that can scan and copy/print really clearly an already existing polaroid picture. I have photos with my bf that turn out really good and I've always wanted to have to copies of it.
Or can you print an already scanned film? Will it affect the quality? I'm really tempted to buy it, if ever that is possible.
Same I wish I could recreate my polaroids too. I hope they create that feature in the future!
They could probably add the feature to the app and make it possible on this device… instead of adding the photos from the phone to the device, add photos to your phone through the app using the device??
How do I fix that ?
I don't see barcode as u said so >>>. so how is that ?
Can you make a video that talks about how to remove a jammed cartridge, and a bit more detail on how to put the cartridge in? That would be a great help.
Did you get yours out? I just got one stuck….
Heyyy the AR function cannot be shared with friends now, is there any other ways i could share it my my friends ? Please fix it !!!!
That's cool.
why can't print public AR photos anymore?
Unlike anything I've seen before?
So what's the Instant Lab then?
This better not have the same battery issues or you're going to really have to replace a lot of these.
Shhhh quiet, they don't want people to be reminded of that disaster. Just buy this one which might be a tiny bit better ;).
Hey Plaroid Team I need your help I found a Polaroid image 2 from my Grandfather but I cant find a Film tahts fit with this kamera. Pleas hellopppp meeeeeeeeeee!!!
Is there a way you can filter ur pictures to make em brighter ?
Yes, in the app I believe.
Was that a 4x4 in the intro?
I’ve just purchased the Lab, but sadly the public AR functionality is now disabled and I’m the only one who can view my embedded AR videos. It’s a huge shame as it defeats the whole ethos of sharing my photo embedded AR videos with family and friends. Now looking for an alternative for this purpose.
Why did my picture come out so pink ?
Does anyone have any advice on how to make the lab print not so warm pictures? I have tried printing in the dark and refrigerating the film before use, even fresh out of the fridge it comes out super warm. Do I need to bump up the exposure?
Have your tried the brightness of your phone screen
My Polaroid lab won’t turn on
I bought this :)
congrats on wasting your money :)
@@atalkinghead3637 why so?
Is anyone that made this thing work?
Does the brightness level on your phone matter or is brightness adjusted by the app when you lay the phone over the lens?
I'd like to know the answer to this as well.
I’d also like to know this
Bought it today. My Polaroid app makes a weird square border on my prints. How do i prevent this happening? ._.
It's just there to match the Polaroid picture.
Can someone help me. I’ve been using mine and my Polaroid scans keep turning orange? Is there a fix?
It's a shame the replacement film is so expensive. Otherwise a nice product
Honestly instant film (Polaroid or Fujifilm Instax) isn't even all that expensive when it comes to color film.
Color negative film (not instant at all) costs about $20 per roll in my case and with that you get 36 photos that you still need to pay extra for developing, and pay some more for the developing lab to scan or print the photos for you. Color film developing and printing is quite complicated and there's no way the average person with a reasonable budget can do it. And you can very easily ruin the film if you improperly load it, handle it or even store it (color negative film does not like higher temperatures and it is best to store it in a fridge).
I'm confused as to why u have to put the phone on it couldn't it just send the info wirelessly
Why are all my photos being printed upside down?
Did you ever find a solution
Can the color film be removed to put the black and white one without being finished? Thank s
No, or the top photo in the pack would be exposed to light and ruined. once you put a new pack in you are committed to that pack until you print all 8 photos. Save your money and buy an Fujifilm instax printer at 1/3 the cost, easier to use, and higher quality results.
@@atalkinghead3637 you could just put the black front sheet back on top of the first picture before taking out the pack from the camera
@@PaulaIkari yeah if you have a dark bag or official dark room that let's 0% light in when you remove the film pack to insert the darkslide
why not just be able to print polaroid photos through bluetooth instead of the whole scanning method?
Because they aren't as intuitive and intelligent as FujiFilm. For real though. Did you see their BS response to you ("a little bit of magic")?? Save your money and buy a Fuji Instax printer, the mini or square version both work wonders and connect via bluetooth/wifi. None of this scanning crap at $3 per photo.
@@PolaroidOriginals If the quality of the photo affects the quality of the print, doesn't the resolution of the phone screen also affect the print's resolution? What if the photo has a much higher resolution than that of the phone? Isn't that a bit limiting?
aTalkingHead I think it’s because your phone acts as an Enlarger and exposes onto the developer, so if it were digital it wouldn’t work.
@@atalkinghead3637 another braindeath guy. fuji picture looks cold, like a normal picture... But polaroid pictures are incredible und so beautiful just because of this technique. So think about it and dont be that stupid
@@philipd.2629 oh little Phil, stfu. Do you work for Polaroid or something? Better use lube if you're riding them that hard.
Can I duplicate Polaroid photos with the Lab by placing a Polaroid photo on the platform instead of a phone? Will it capture all of the original Polaroid photo? Will the new photo have worse exposure than the original?
you need to make an SX-70 type camera for iType film
Will you buy a $1000 camera?
Need it for real.
What? Lol that doesn't make sense
@@michaelgarciamendoza9797 what?
They are trying to move forward not backwards kiddo
All my photos printed from the lab are all heavily blurred!!! There could be a specific reason for it or this is the supposed quality?
A. Benny I hate it! Mine are all blurry! I’m returning mine tomorrow!
If you adjust the brightness of your phone screen it should help alot
@@jayneesimpson1323 More brightness or less brightness? I’m having the same issue
why not just create an app where you dont need to put the phone on the printer to get an exposure?
???
@@feni_1553I think he's stupid 😭
how tf do your turn it off after using
You push down the lense and it’ll click to turn off.
What should I do if I accidentally took the film shield off 🤦♀️
I did the same thing. I’d say, pray.
throw the camera in the garbage
i put it in upside down 😭
what if I press the red button and nothing happens
I tired to download the app on android and it says "This item in not available in your country" (I'm in Australia) yet I bought the Polaroid Lab from the Australian website. What is happening? I used the QR code. Polaroid Original app can't be found when I do a search!???
You try to use an apk?
Update, for some reason I had to turn location off, turn my phone off then on again. And when I searched again, it was there. (Tech staff at polaroid helped with this) 👍🏼😁
Oh, ok :)
my photos arent coming out ):
Is you film in?
*Polaroid item update*
Your Polaroid Lab detected no film inserted. Please turn it off and refill film.
Does this work with a cracked phone screen?
No. Photo will show the crack
Instax Wide Link runs circles around this
This is cool as shit!
first the pictures didn’t come out now the button doesn’t work
We’re you able to fix it? Cause I’m having the same issue
@@ge.rar.do.r did u fix it?
Anyone else’s lab put ugly ass filters on the picture when it prints
bro yes mines prints yellow/green even when i put them in the fridge before use

Challenge: Make a 9 puzzle (easier iteration of a 15 puzzle) with a 9-exposure collage
This video is misleading. I bought Polaroid lab to share AR photos with friends. Polaroid has removed the public feature. What’s the point of making AR photos you can only view on your own phone? Seriously disappointing. Boo hiss hiss.
Unseemly nnoying moronic background jingle . There should be a limit to the 💩💩💩💩💩💩
Oh Oskar, give it a rest already. Polaroid Originals = Urban outfitters = catering to millennial hipsters not real photographers. How about you just give up the copyrights on the original polaroid frame size so that Fuji can put out their film in that size at 1/3 the cost.
UO sells Fuji too 🤡🤡🤡
El último video fue hace dos años. Tienen buen material aquí en CZcams. No dejen morir el contenido. Estoy seguro que a más de uno nos interesa ver nuevos videos. 🥲
