- Everyone's perspective on life is different. But, as someone who lives with lifelong bipolar, I'd like to tell you what my thoughts and feelings are in different situations.
This can be seen as an educational video, or if you, too, are someone who lives with this mental health condition, you may find comfort in this as you discover you're not alone in your struggles.
As males, we struggle to open up about our mental health and vulnerabilities. I push myself to break this social norm and voice our struggles on the World Wide Web. If you like my videos and would like to support the channel, please hit the subscribe button. It helps a great deal!

It is very comforting to hear you talk so openly about your experience with bipolar
Proud of you mate
My brother!!!
Most of your symptoms are just the same as my son’s. This things I subtly noticed as he was growing up but just didn’t pay much attention to it because apart from this things, he’s such a sweet and beautiful person to our eyes. But the perfect storm shocked us for the last two years when the tide went against us. It was horrible and unimaginable journey! He’s turning 31 this year. 🤞
Wow, so my stable thoughts aren’t just normal thoughts… Does your son have Bipolar? I hope he’s slowly recovering 🙏 I can assure you there is hope!
@@itsmikemcdonnell yes he’s got bipolar type I. He has gone back to work for over two months after over a year of being offsick from the condition but he’s in the down side again😢. Before the mania and psychosis he was prescribed for antidepressant but as he was feeling better and feeling great, he suddenly stopped it on his own decision with combination of odd cannabis but sadly this set him off to mania and psychosis. He was admitted for over a month. It was really a hard struggle really. He lost his house, girlfriend, friends, almost all his money and job.😢
@@itsmikemcdonnell it’s hard to believe looking at you, you’ve been through it as you look really really well. But looking at my son is seems completely hard to see the old beautiful sweet son that’s full of life and charisma. But I will try to keep saying to myself that hopefully one day he will come back.🙏
Enjoyed your perspective. Are you BP 2+
Thank you! And I haven’t heard of that term before, can you explain what that is please? 😀
Have you tried keto diet
Just posted a video on this Mark 👍
@@itsmikemcdonnell thank you …sounds like keto wasn’t a game changer for you … there is a CZcams channel called metabolic mind that majes it seem people go into remission from severe mental
Illness using keto .. I have it’s ocd depression severe anxiety after losing my parents 19 months ago and have tried all the meds Tms ketamine therapy but losing hope nothing works .. use to run marathons and now for 19 months can’t do anything anymore .. not sure I could maintain a keto diet
Is it possible you may also be neuro-divergent? This sounds like someone I know who has ADHD/Autism
Maybe!
I’d love to find out. How could I go about doing that? 🤔 I’d feel a little like I’m wasting the Doctor’s time by just turning up to ask if they can assess me 🤣
