for the ppl who dont watch boxing, this is a SPAR not a match. When you spar against somebody whos not as good as you, you let them work as well because they are learning. So very rearly you see the better fighter go all out in sparring (unless they get heated). Plus viddal tried to emulate thor a little bit by staying southpaw the whole spar. so stop saying "eDDie dID BeTtER aGAinSt vIDdal" when he didnt, landed like 4 solid shots the whole spar and viddal only threw 1-3 shots at a time.

He doesnt throw it an at one time in the footage 5:25 you can see he throws it and shakes it off in discomfort. I think the torn bicep was a bigger problem than he made out. He fought the fight with 1 arm and i have great respect for him and his a hero for doing so. And to answer your question, viddal had to take a break due to back injuries, and also until the mayweather promotions contract was up. Jake's a good boxer no doubt but imo viddal is one of the best prospects and most likely future champ at his weight class. Oh and another thing he's been boxing wayyyy longer than jake so the experience is also a factor. I'm just speaking hard facts mate I'm not just taking the piss.

Because he's an idiot who can't stand being wrong? The couple of times Viddal hits him, Eddie asks him to keep the power down. Tosser.

The whole ‘arms down’ thing with eddie was ridiculous, why did he do this in the match and in sparring? It makes no sense as his punches are having to travel further, more telegraphed, and he has no guard?

Simple, ignorance and narcissism. Thinking he knows better than anyone.

it might be due to the 6 inch height difference. a regular boxing stance would leave him exposed to jabs. I don't know boxing at all, but you'd expect his coach to know more than us.

Same reason he's not wearing head gear but the pro is. He thinks he knows and is better than everyone. Who the he'll spars without head gear. Completely unnecessary, all it says is that his ego is huge.

Maybe his head was too big to fit in the headgear at this point. Might fit now 😄
