His performance as his father was definitely Oscar worthy, I mean he had Cube down cold. Flawless acting by O'Shea and the movie itself is a masterpiece, I loved it
He only did such a good job because he looks so much like his dad. Jason Mitchell looks nothing like Eazy and killed it, I thought Jasons performance was the best
MARLO STANFIELD You're right, Jason Mitchell was amazing as Easy E and he did perform better than anyone else but you have to give to props to O'Shea too. He and Jason both killed their performances and both should be in the conversation of Oscar nomination talk. They were great but again I have to agree about Jason Mitchell, he was outstanding

Straight Outta Compton is such an amazing story that the MAKING of that movie would be another great movie. Or maybe even a book, I'd read it. I want to know what was the genesis of this movie, how did he get the idea to make a movie about NWA and how did it all come together? What all lead up to it? I want to see Oshea Jr's story and how he went from being the son of a famous rapper to playing his own dad in a movie - THAT would be another great movie which I'd pay to see.
BTW I met Ice Cube about twenty years ago. He's cool as fuck. No pun intended.
They should do a boyz n the hood remake and let him play his pops before he get too old lol
