It's been a LONG time since I've seen a new SMG4 video that's just an ABSOLUTE drug trip from beginning to end.... I love it.

First thing I thought when I saw the notification for this episode!
I can only assume Luke is gun-shy about putting "Mario" in the title since Wonder just came out and IDK maybe the copyright bots are on the prowl… Plus he was interviewed by a major publication about Amazing Digital Circus and even though he never mentioned Mario or SMG4, he may feel he has a target on his back right now? Sucks he has to play it safe since, far as I can tell from reading statute and case law, he's well within Fair Use in Australia and USA…
I hate it since it shows that smg4 is truly leaving the old era and everything about it. Mario isn't even that stupid anymore so maybe that's why

Mario being smart lately is so weird. It was a gradual process but he's basically a completely different character now.
Well, I’d say his more “smarter”/saner portrayal here is justified. He does still act like an idiot in recent episodes and I’d rather have him be somewhat sane/levelheaded over him being a completely insane manchild.
This episode was an acid trip even by Smg4 standards
This video is basically if 2014 SMG4 and Ssedmonar plus even more memes and craziness were all put into a blender. You get this and I love it for that.
As for how Mario got out of prison, I'm guessing he used what was left of Marty's fortune to bail himself out.

I also don’t use Reddit, and I got this information from the SMG4/GLITCH wiki page for this episode, whose Trivia section mentions an explanation on how Mario got out of jail, and said reason seems to be backed up well with something effectively official.

This episode was very clearly written and filmed before wotfi 2023 main due to the fact that the construction site for smg3’s cafe/evil lair/house is around anywhere out side the castle I think we see the outside of the castle and the cafe is nowhere to be seen but that might be because of the wonder flower changing the world and Mario could very well be released until his trial.
Again, main reason why I dub that game Super Mario Acid Trip! Granted the boss roster could’ve been better..
This is weird, even for the standarts of the channel. I even feel unconfortable at looking some of the group like that.
Other think is that this episode made that some of my friends talk about how the Gmod is the basic way to make animations.

True but around 1:56 a chat message says says someone apparently already made a video called Stupid Mario Wonder. So that's probably why it's called SMG4 Wonder and not Stupid Mario Wonder so that SMG4 doesn't get into the whole being accused of stealing titles for videos type stuff
