I love that SMG4 was able to change our feelings about Zero like that.
They went from absolute monster who committed omnicide across Universes, to tragic figures who were deceived by a magical box that twisted their wishes, bringing further corruption and misery to the multiverse.

I just wanna say that whoever voiced Niles is REALLY GOOD at Voice Acting. The moments where he was angry and upset were some of his best moments. "The power of the God Box IS SUPPOSED TO BE OURS!!!!" "I'll fix it just watch JUST WATCH! YOU AND I WILL FIX IT ALL!!!" "This can't be the end..."
They used a professional voice actor for Niles I think.
Michael Kovach voices both Niles and SMG0, so it's quite funny

If you go back to the 10 Year Anniversary movie, when Mario has the vision of Zero's past, you can see the moment where SMG0 and Niles fused together. That kind of attention to detail deserves discussion

I realized that SMG4 went full Subspace Emissary on us.
Such an epic conclusion to this unbelievable story arc. I'm not gonna lie: I actually got teary-eyed seeing Melony and Axol reunite, if only briefly. Melony's grown so much and become so strong, and I know Axol's just as proud of her as we all are.
Terrance and Axol are gone, but are never forgotten
The legacy of Terrance the Ugandan Knuckles has passed to Eggdog, the 2nd servant of SMG3. May he bring care and love to Eggdog, as he did for Terrance.
Melony has mastered the powers of the Fierce Deity mask upon meeting Axol again, albeit briefly, but just enough time, and graduated in Omnia Academy.
Axol, our dear friend, if your watching from the Great Beyond, be sure to watch over your dear friends, the SMG4 Gang and Melony.
Wait for her Axol. She has so much to do in the Mushroom Kingdom. Amen.

SMG0 was the biggest victim in all of this, and the one who ultimately ended both Niles and the God Box's threat once and for all.
He's still my favorite character, despite having known him for less than an hour.
The movie was amazing, 10/10 so many twists

Me: Uh, how about SMG0? Was he not a great character basically introduced in this movie only to die in it? Niles used SMG0's name in the genesis arc as an alias to not reveal his true self and because half of him was technically SMG0 the whole time. But Niles was always in control. Bottom line... SMG0 was killed off too soon! Screw Niles though. I don't care if the God Box told him to do anything or brainwashed him or whatever. No way I'd ever forgive him if he came back a second time... Unless he brings back Axol. But sadly, that is never going to happen! Damn these damn good writers!
Seriously, SMG0 had such potential that Luke and Kevin just wasted in an instant.

I think it was a combination of 0 being more hardy/strong due to as we can see he actively engaged in combat, 0 having only *just* gotten absorbed again so it’s possible he wasn’t as entrenched as Axol. And also sadly… Melony is hitting a *lot* harder now then the Meme powered Mario was… therefore shaking Zero loose

I feel bad for SMG0 more than for anybody else in this movie.
- He was forced into a prison made of muscle tissue and tendons, unable to even move
- He was stuck in this prison for 10+ years straight
- He finally was freed from the prison
- 6-ish months later he got forced right back into the prison
- He got freed from it again, only for him to die 3 minutes later
He was a wholesome little bean 😢
Terrence came in clutch tho, he was a hero in his own way 🥲

Awesome to see another one of your reactions a little early and this movie was really good.
Man... I was really hoping for Axol to Ex Machina his way back in. But still, the story telling of SMG4 has become something greater, and your reactions to his content is incredible.
I only saw half of the original premiere because I was late as usual, but now I get to see Viger's reaction to the WHOLE thing!!

not gonna lie the moment i heard Lugia's song played during the finale it got me off guard, almost cried there at that moment.
And once again, this and the Genesis arc manage to make the anime and CZcams arcs look like comedies. SMG0 was interesting because he was basically a fusion dance of two characters

This gave me half of what I wanted, and started another issue I had with the end of the Genesis arc. We technically got the full origin of SMG0, but why was his world becoming corrupted (edit: it might be because the memes “died” and they became corrupted because they had no internet graveyard to go to), and who/what was Niles supposed to really be exactly and why what was wrong with him?? I had known by the end of the Genesis arc that they’d continue Zero’s story, but it doesn’t look like they’re going to continue anymore now. Anyone have any answers to my questions?

While I’m still not sure how the corruption started, I think I have an idea of how Niles became so unstable. Remember when Zero explained how they established the “Meme Life Cycle” together? Well I think Niles was created to be a living purifier, absorbing the negative energy from corrupted memes and cleansing it to create new forms. However, all of that bad energy had to go somewhere, which meant Niles was slowly becoming sick himself. Realizing that he could eventually die from this and have to leave Zero and Fred, he desperately wanted to find a way to preserve everything they had so the three of them could live together forever. In short, Niles was having an existential crisis from the fear of death and terminal illness, and his corruption further twisted that anxiety and frustration into pure insanity.
Thats why the balance between the light and darkness

Now only 1 question remains and it hasn't left my brain since it came. Will Melony get her own spin-off series now that her mayor story arc is over? Meggy got one after the first smg4 movie.
Meggy's destiny was years prior to Sunset Paradise though.
If you think about it so far this is the only smg4 video to have straight horror all the other scens with horror elements are played either more for laughs or done in a somewhat cartonney wat not that what the hell
