There's a really special perspective when playing the Alien Commander in his duel against the Raze Soldier in that shipyard mission, because we already know what the Raze Soldier is up to, and us getting to know what the Alien Commander is up to, that is, saving his own race from a meteor shower by evacuating his people to the Earth and defending them from the Earth's own defenders, makes the Raze Soldier as intimidating as the Alien Commander himself is when we play as the Raze Soldier, because as the Alien Commander, you finally get to have some heart-to-heart with the guy who keeps interfering with your plans, and as the Raze Soldier, you finally get to have some heart-to-heart with the final boss. The Alien Commander's killstreak of choice is also a neat detail to the fight, because in the perspective of the Raze Soldier, the AC is a formidable opponent who picks his fights wisely, and in the eyes of the AC, the Raze Soldier is such a formidable opponent that he is obligated to use the teleport killstreak. And this duel is interesting in the grand scheme because it's pretty much a way for both fighters to test the waters, what they can and can't do.
Honestly one of my favourite ways of story telling is giving us the both side of the story which makes me wanna root for both of them
I should really try Raze 2 again in the future. Impressive as always.

Down to the last second or 2 on that last mission, damm great stuff i was stuck on rocket race for over an hour.
Man... You are one of the best Raze 2 players I ever see. I'm still playing Raze 2 to these days but I was never even close to this "No Deaths" achievement in Alien Campaign. Hack, I nearly even didn't complete Rocket Race because it was so difficult for me. :D You are legend, I salute You, You deserve to have at least 1 million views for this! GG man!
PS: If you want to try: The hardest challenge I ever tried was to save my entire crew in Final Deployment level, this means that J. Rockit, Md. Sage, Ex. Treem and You have to have 0 deaths. It is challenge more about luck than skill, but I managed to have only 1 death with J. Rockit (unfortunately I accidentally delete printscreen year ago). Think about it, I think this is also one of the hardest challenges in Raze 2, maybe you will receive some secret ending. ;)

holy shit, this is pretty insane. ill have to comment on how difficult 11 is though, but damn. not dying to MAX bots on raze 2 of all games, where the weapons are relatively balanced and fair? really clean run
12:45 you're pretty much reliant on the invincible to win. your bots suck and are outnumbered 2+1 to 4, and the human bots are extremely dangerous once they get 3, 5 or 7 weapon slots.
usually what happens is your bots do nothing, and 1 human bot can stroll in and get a capture. meanwhile you have to get through 2-3 bots without taking too much damage otherwise you cant chain flags, meaning youll have to snipe them using slots 5 or 7, but then they respawn in quickly and you have to run for it. it doesnt help it that rockit has his obnoxious katana. so pretty much you just have to run for the invincible and if its not there, pray that you dont die.
hell, youll even lose because your bots are so incompetent that they cant even defend their flag even if its a 2 vs 1.
So its not just me that finds 11 canceerously hard!

Very hard level indeed
This game is a lot easier than the first one, but still insane to do this. I always remember the levels 24-26 of the alien campaign on the first game. They were insane to beat, let alone have 0 deaths and win all of them.

Don't go hard on youself, rocket race is the hardest level in the game.
I had to restart and experiment with new equipment a couple of times before I beat it.

Hello BLAST3R I have a question and in need of a quick solution? The zombie raze soldier keeps on running away from me every time I uses the invincibility power ups in the last level of the alien campaign. If you were me, how can you counter that?
I think every player should find the most powerful setup, and it is. Basically, what's your active and passive skills?

Have you changed the keyboard shortcut layout? How do you manage to switch keys from 1 to 7, for example, it's not easy for me?! I can reach the maximum to the 5 key, and so I switch the Q and E keys.
No I didn't change the keyboard layout. I use both Q&E and the number keys. With time and practice I got better at changing weapons using the number keys.

A good way to test how hard that challenge is gonna be would be to try to beat rocket race in R2R hard with no deaths.
If rocket race is beatable no-deaths, the campaign is too.

I paid attention to the 31:52-32:06 montage because in the other mission you have a different explosive device and a longer range, but the way you switch to 5 and 7 still amazes me, you were very patient when you were preparing all this for us.🦾👽👍
