I just purchased the EDU - my first cube since owning the original Rubiks Cube decades ago when i was a kid. I never even came close to solving that one - LOL. Now with the help of the internet, i hope to finally solve my first cube!

Hey Cameron is the maru magnetic core kit coming to your shop? There are kits for the tornado v2, tengyun v1, yulong v2, wrm 2021, and the rs3m. I see it on a different shop but I would like to buy it from scs instead since shipping is fast.

You can always slow down a fast cube, which isn't always the case for a slow cube.

Brother Speedcubeshop is a multi million dollar business, they are not going to care about 3 measly dollars for a cube.
But a million dollar company such as SCS wont care about the extra 3 dollars

The RS3M 2020 is a good cube with great performance. I like dry cubes. Corner cutting is good. And the turns are fast.
The Monster Go EDU is like a Meilong 3M.

I always go back to moyu cubes. I tried the gan 356m and the dayan tengyun v2 but i still prefer the wrm. Well that's untill i got the rs3m, which is more stable for the same corner cutting

Just got my Monster go Edu and it turns amazing! Although rs3m is better and smoother but i still like the monster go because of the 56mm size

I've retired my RS3's in favor of the EDU. But then, I'm addicted to fast cubes. The only cubes faster are gonna cost a pretty penny with the GAN 11, 12, or 13.

I just recently got my MonsterGo EDU. I got it about 7 dollars or 400 PHP, at first it's really fast but you'll get used to it. Effortless turns :D
I believe Monster Go EDU killed Gan 11 Air (if we consider that "alive").
Having magnets is much more preferred over customization. Even RS3M people have to add magnets.
I used to have the 11 air
Centers breaking on my gan 11 m pro, so I get a Gan 11 Air to harvest parts from lmao

the rs3m is better. literally every category rs3m won except in the "general feel" and "turning flow". What does that even mean?!? i feel like speedcubeshop is just trying to sell another cube. And i still dont understand how the weight of the cube is supposed to change the stability. Ive used both and the monster go is way too fast which makes the magnets feel weaker.

The EDU isnt really that bad. The magnets are amazing, its just that the cube is too fast lol but youll get used to it the more you use it though. Or, you can adjust the cube too.

I dont understand whats the difference betwen Gan MG3 and MG3 EDU
edu is faster and smoother along with better corner cutting than the mg3 but mg3 uses gan spring system whereas edu uses screw

I have both and many many more cubes so I can give my opinion on them. They are VERY different cubes. They are on like opposites. The EDU is the second fastest cube Ive used ever. Its faster than all but one of my maglev puzzles. The speed is comparable to the MoYu RS3 M Super V2 Maglev (my fastest cube). Because of this, it is a very unique cube. It feels like a maglev cube. On the other hand the MoYu RS3 M 2020 was very dry and sandy out of the box. It felt like it had a lot of friction and quite honestly was one of the worst feeling cubes out of the box for me. I immediately had to lube it (used lunar) and loosen it a bit (it was on tightest setting out of the box), which to me, is a bad thing since a bottle of lube is only a little cheaper than the cube itself, and begginer cubers probably dont want to lube and adjust a cube. After lubing it felt very average. I think moyu messed up by not including factory lube. Without lube, the sandy dry frictiony feeling will probably go away. The momster go EDU has stronger magnets while the MoYu RS3 M 2020 has rather weak magnets. One major thing for the monster go not discussed in the vid is the texture. I found the plastic on the monster go to be very slippery. Its probably the the cube with the least grip I own. The MoYu RS3 M is pretty standard with grip. The RS3 is probably better for cubers who are extremely new and dont know finger tricks since it will give more controll. The monster go might be better for someone whe can do basic tricks and already has some muscle memory.

Edu cost $12 and the swift block cost $13, they are targeted for beginners. Swift block is more blocky than the edu. Swift block has a tensioning system but not the edu, edu only has a screw only. Swift block has visible magnet but no magnet settings. They are both magnetic. I think the swift block is strong magnet than the edu because they are visible.

Hy i feel a bit unsatisfied that scs has less price if rs3m and other puzzles than CUBELELO an Indian cube store.
What can I say? A puzzle in your own country is more costly than a foreign country.

the gan is more of a bigener cube and the mo yu is more of a cheap advanced cuber cube

It's the other way around actually. I own both and I can tell you that the reviewer is going very soft on the EDU. The rs3m is miles better.
@@SpeedCubeShopOfficial The corner cutting on the EDU is bad. It requires way too much force at normal angles and since most people aren't Clark Kent, it locks up a lot. Combine this with the insane speed of this cube and it's an even bigger problem. Why so fast by the way, what exactly is the benefit of being able to do a 360 by blowing on the top layer ? Totally useless. So why do I think you went soft on the EDU ? Because you didn't explicitly mention the corner cutting and because you considered the requirement for a "careful turning style" something good when it actually isn't. Being unforgiving is never good for a cube.
With that said, I agree that these opinions are subjective. The EDU gets some criticism for being too rigid though, it's not just me...

I have the first edition of the monster go. And I kinda liked it with the ges system better.
Always even tensions.
On the other hand: screws are more difficult to take apart. So maybe a better choice for beginners. I don't know.
It's a bit of a dilemma.

Notice how SCS does the review differently than the cubicle. For the cubicle they just judge based on first impression while Cameron actually dives into more stuff about the cubes. That is why I love SCS way more than the cubicle.

The RS3M is still the cube to beat, "turning Flow" ..making up new categories to make your unbiased opinion seem even More unbiased ..? Bad .CubeShop...... GAN is by far the maker of the best fastest most customizable cubes on the market ...That is True .... but ... It seems that your assessment of the EDU is wayyyyyyy more biased than you probably think it is .... I know. Because I have an original Monster Go, which is by no means an RS3M killer, But neither is this New Version .... that looks remarkably like my one ... although the internals my have changed slightly ... your assessment of needing to be more precise in your turning ... as a positive !!??? Is a flawed one .... Corner cutting ...every reviewers 'go to' feature (pardon the pun) is Never mentioned here ..... a must have !! ...according to Every reviewer i've seen ...... the RS3M is pretty good at corner cutting for a $9 cube .... how is the GO ?? if its anything like the earlier version ...and it appears so in your video .... Then No ... corner cutting is absent, because, in your own words ..... You need to be accurate with your turning ... !! unfortunate title for a review that shows it really really is Not, any kind of killer... But as i said ...you never mention Corner cutting, and use a completely new random category of "turning Flow" ..... two things you have never done in any previous 3 X 3 review .... so that seems to me ...My opinion 🙂.....that you are trying ....all be it in an incredibly subtle manner ...... to show the EDU in a brighter light than it really deserves .... "EDU a bit sloppy sometimes".... probably due to the "Precise" nature needed to turn it accurately ..... On the Economic side ... I'm sure it's a marginal profit (RS3M over the EDU) but a profit none the less ..... As always really love your store, your guys, and your very professional business acumen ...I know it appears i have an axe to grind over the EDU .....But, I am baffled by all the incredibly high praise it gets from people ( you tube reviewers and other sellers of cubing products) who seemingly know a great deal more than I about all aspects of cubing......but being the consumer, I feel i have to call out what ..To Me ..... seems unwarranted praise for an almost throw back feeling cube ....NOT up to even the lowest of GAN's quality control.....
