    Think of it this way:
*The "Lebron didnt really beat anybody" narrative is created because there is no one else in the league in Lebron's level.*
If Kawhi, Giannis etc. were on Lebron's level they would manage to get in his way...
*Take Lebron off the league and everyone will say its competitive. That's dominance.*

What's so crazy is that the west is suppose to be so tough..but because he breezed through it now all of a sudden he didn't play anybody..these the same teams that played last year when lebron was injured and they ridiculed lebron for not being in the playoffs..and this year the west was better than last year..the talent was off the charts..and now since he took it personal and dominated now all of a sudden he didn't play anybody..gtfoh..

The "lebron never beat anyone" is because he recruits 2 of the leagues top pkayers to join him, so he has a chance to win. Fanboys are sad.

First of all he had to get multiple hofs. He wasn’t winning last year. Wasn’t going to make the playoffs. No Durant and Westbrook on okc, no golden state, the spurs have been bad since Tim d, and Manu, and Tony Parker. He isn’t playing anyone. He knew the East got tougher then the west and he ran.

Speaking as a former LeBron hater turned fan: In the early Cleveland days it was jealousy and enjoying seeing the superstar flop in the playoffs (compared to Kobe). I really hated him for The Decision because that move seemed to be an “F.U.” to all small markets letting them know they really shouldn’t be in the NBA. But when he went back to Cleveland that all changed and then he won them a championship and that earned my ultimate respect. Him coming to my team and getting us a title was merely a bonus.

(nothing) but you automatically get it anyway EVEN tho you're not the ideal human yourself and surely you've done something trivial in life to make you a candidate for his distain towards YOU ... yet Lebron has NEVER disrespected you or anyone else .... (how do you people stand your own hypocrisy)
what if lebron never went back to cleveland and won ... what if he never joined your team and you didn't get that additional bonus championship (you'd STILL hate him) .. THEREFORE, im not convinced you ACTUALLY learned anything from *your* disrespectful behavior, which means you're inclined to repeat it.

The reality is, people are afraid because he's the first real player to challenge Michael Jordan for the greatest player of all time. And people are afraid. They're afraid to admit it might be true. All the stats favor LeBron at this moment including the accolades. The championships is the only thing that's lacking.
I'm a huge Michael Jordan fan, but even I know LeBron is a real, real threat to challenge MJ's status. If he wins this year, and goes back-to-back next year, he's literally right there. It'll be Tom Brady surpassing Joe Montana all over again.

In that era, even Danny Ainge was a star.
Comparing to LeBron, averagely Jordan played against players who had less athleticism, less size, less strength, in his era only a few can shoot 3s, big man couldn’t run the floor, no one doing handles like shammgod, no eurosteps. They played physical , but with smaller size of like 200 lbs.
When Jordan left bulls they went from 57 wins to 55. When LeBron left cavaliers 61 to 19.
Without Pippen, Jordan never passed 1st round. Without Jordan, Bulls almost entered 3rd round.

@@juliuslim8853 I'll always be an MJ guy, but your points are valid. When you look at their careers with context, your argument holds up. General fans don't realize just how slow, & methodical NBA players were in the 90's. Physicality was at an all-time high, because skill was at an all-time low.
It's less physical today, but the implementation of the free-zone makes defenses infinitely more complicated to attack. So what did players do to attack the zone? They learned how to shoot. Hence why scoring is up.
Michael Jordan will always be my guy, but there's no doubt LeBron has a legitimate case for the GOAT status. I've never seen anything like him. Not even MJ.

I love to hear older analysts’ takes, they have seen all the eras. They always give MJ the respect but give LBJ his props as well. Nobody will ever be MJ but no one will ever be LBJ either. Lebron been dragging nobodies to the finals for over a decade now, this man is unreal in basketball.

Skip Bayless on purposely not mentioning the competitors of MJ.

Silly. When MJ left the Bulls in '93 they still had their whole roster in tact, which included a top 50 player in Pippen, the best player in Europe (Kukoc) was also added to their team and paid big dividends. The Cavs did not have any of those things when Lebron made his "decision". They also lost Shaquille O'Neal, Danny Green, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas that summer too. So, comparing their departures is just silly. Also, when the Bulls Dynasty ended in '98 the team went from dominant title winner to complete disaster for a DECADE (13-37, 15-67, 17-65, 21-61, 30-52, 23-59, 47-35, 41-41, 49-33, 33-49) finishing dead last in their conference 5 of those years.

No they weren’t . How many Patrick Ewing’s, shaqs, hakeems are there now? Karl Malone’s? David Robinson? They were bigger back then, and way more physical. Jordan is lambing the bad boy pistons, and five hofs on the Celtics which lebron never played a team that good. Wtf are you smoking? They only shoot threes because you can’t even be in their landing zone, no hard fouls to the hoop, no hand checking. Jordan would murder this league. Lol so you even know when the euro step was invented? No real Centers in the hole now. Delete your post, it’s straight stupid. Reggie Miller hitting fade-away threes out of bounds. Kerr was the most accurate three point shooter. With real real rules you don’t get fifty threes a game.
The bulls also added Kerr and kukoc that year. Lol. What an idiot. The only guys that are more athleticism matters why? Every dynasty even now went athletic. Golden state athletic? Klay Thompson moves in slow motion. We’re the spurs athletic? The big three in Boston? Kg was older by then. He had decent athleticism in his prime. Kobe didn’t have a 40 something inch vertical. Jordan still has the highest vertical recorded and ran a 4.4. Just ridiculous. Delete this bs.

@Daniel Harper LA is a much better spot than Cleveland. Kobe or MJ would have left Cleveland also

@Daniel Harper you have a point about Chicago. It is still a much bigger/better market than Cleveland. MJ would have left there if they wouldn't have gotten a good coach and another all star. It is fact that most great players came from LA or Boston. Magic Johnson or Bird probably wouldnt have had the same level of success in Cleveland. Bill Russell? due respect but there was like 8 or 10 ten teams? not much competition. Different eras, the GOAT argument is not a real thing. It is just here for people to have stupid arguments. I will take LBJ but I could be wrong, just as could anyone about any player. Those who think they know are wrong. there is literally no way to know, just opinions

@Daniel Harper LB wouldnt have chased Shaq off for the sake of his ego, he would have worked with him and won a lot of titles. Same thing with Kawhi today, lack of leadership leads to underachieving. LB's leadership is amazing, unprecedented

Some of these comments are funny. Lebron paired up with AD on the Lakers. That's one other Allstar. In Cleveland he had Kyrie (not counting Love). In Miami he had Wade and sometimes Bosh. Where are all these allstars he needs to win ? Other stars he got were past their prime. Some of the commenters forget that the Celtics with their Big 3 +1 (Garnett, Allen, Pierce + Rondo) was created. Then KD joined an already powerful Warriors years later. Is it ok for a team to create a power team but not an individual player like Lebron ? Please.. Lebron won for years in the east and now he won out west.

They complain about him getting a star because they know how great he is and don't want him to dominate. That's why there was so many warriors fans.

@@JahleelX-xx9wd It’s funny because I saw a MJ fan admit that. He always rooted against Lebron because every time he won a chip that makes his case stronger for being the GOAT.

This isn’t the Raptors being gifted an injury against GSW and still having some issues until Klay went down. It’s not Lebron or the Lakers fault that you all paid more attention to the Heat because they were the hipster pick of the week. If anyone had an easy path to the Finals it was the Heat honestly. Pacers were injured and checked out, Bucks collapsed last year with a better roster than this one and just looked bad, Celtics have had a bunch of issues here and there not knowing who’s leading or what to do with Hayward or whatever. Also both the Nuggets and Blazers were both seen as on these major rolls. Every series except the Rockets had people calling losses for the Lakers, 4-1 each time.
People are so up the Heat’s ass I’ve seen multiple people including ESPN going on about how Herro has a right to be angry about his draft position. Dude was drafted 13TH, same spot as Kobe, 15 spots above Kawhi. If Jordan was drafted 3rd, I think it’s probably okay that Tyler fucking Herro was drafted 13TH.

Bc he keeps going to the finals every year in the east and people were hungry for a new eastern conference opponent. But the hate should now vanish!

I think the biggest reason is people just refuse to admit they were wrong and change their opinion.
They’re still clinging onto the decision and 2011 like it’s the only thing that has ever happened in his career. They have a narrative in their mind, and they absolutely refuse to change their mind no matter what he does.
If lebron wins 5 championships in a row they will still attack him with their nonsense narratives.
