It was tossed by the previous DA as originally a misdemeanor seen as nothing burger back then. Since the statute of limitations had run out on it as a misdemeanor, Bragg just pulled shit out of thin air to make it a felony so that the statute of limitations no longer mattered and he could prosecute. Bragg has made sure to get a Trump hating judge. I mean in NYC, the fix is in, or at least they're trying really hard to make it so

After looking at all the evidence, I agree that he'll be found guilty.
Something i noticed in 2016 was people pointing out "illegal" things Trump did that are only that if you are already an elected official. Trump was a private citizen until then. These people are so steeped in politics and many of them have never had a real job or private sector job that they can't think in terms outside of it.
Legality toward a Republican running for President is different with a New York jury and they know this. Doesn't matter what is legal or makes sense if you have a corrupt judge and DA willing to bend the law. Im guessing this judge is going to do his best scolding Trump to overshadow how absurd this case is to influence the jury.

I agree with Megyn but I’m not a lawyer so my question is: If, as Megyn says, the trial could be easily dismissed, why wasn’t the case dismissed outright before it went to trial? Won’t the jury hear the same evidence as the judge?

Kelly, the courts in this land CAN get away with illegal bs, I had been SUED for my child by my brother. He robbed three banks! I have zero criminal history, nothing!! The Judge knows my brothers then new wife's family. Everything in that case was loudly illegal, but she got away with it. I was too torn into pieces to fight back, and my lawyer happened to be best friends with the Judge
I found that out myself later into the case. I did above and beyond all that jydge asked. At the end, my mom and I asked my lawyer if it was fixed,she nodded her head, yes! What ever the F in the United States of America?!! No! These are our Judges.
