Ditto that! Soooo relaxing...before I’d heard the term ‘ASMR’ I knew Alan’s voice from LoTR special features would have me asleep within 20-30 minutes easily
You are absolutely right about the voice!!! I love this guy. I love his work and his personality. The first time I saw the documentary on the Lord of the Rings I fell in love with his voice. I'd put it in the evening and go to bed in a sleepy bliss, dreaming of ancient heroes and fairies.
Could not be helped on my part as thats how they did it all though dvd but i agree its annoying. Id hoped someone would but all Alan's bits together for a video and in the end... it was me lol. Another one coming soon and a maybe an omnibus of all recent episodes feat. Audio with no background effects, so that maybe to your liking!
The last one i did (the 9 hour cut) i did drop the music opening (i hadnt expected it to be a series and kinda like repetition!). Ill try and do a John Howe video this year as plum out of Alan stuff!

@@TheGroucho66 yes they do, lots of poor people without dental insurance in the US have bad teeth, you just never see them on TV or film. British people actually have very healthy teeth medically speaking, on average much healthier than Americans, as anything medical is completely free (filings, caps, braces etc). But purely cosmetic work isn’t covered by the free healthcare. So unless you have specific private dental insurance (hardly anyone in Britain does) it costs a fortune to have cosmetic work. So no one does whitening, and braces are only given if there’s a medical necessity. Hence some people have crooked and/or non white, but perfectly healthy teeth.

I only made it because I'd waited so long for somebody else to do it!

Used to watch these clips on the extended dvds and wish there was an "Alan Lee" button.
That's why I had to cobble them together as no one else was doing it. I needed tingle time!
