- Police responded to calls of two bald eagles who were stuck together and wouldn’t let go near 41st Ave. North and Nathan Lane in Plymouth Wednesday afternoon. Officers used towels to calm down the eagles and eventually separated their talons before the birds flew away.

What a hero. He just stopped a civil war.
"This called for de-escalation tactics."
"Was definitely a unique call and we don't train for it."
Yeah we know lol.

Bruh
Police pull up with their guns drawn "STOP RESISTING! PUT THE TALON DOWN!"
😆😆😆
Bald Eagle: "What?" "The talons are part of me." 😕
I hope the Officer checked for any wants and warrants before letting the eagles go.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
as I stated on another one of these videos... this is quite an apt analogy for what will happen to Americans if we continue to fight with each other
Sorry mama but our issues are a bit more complicated.
Nice try
No. A better analogy would be a dog sicked on a cat. It may not completely be the dogs fault, but that doesn't help the felines.
That’s part of a courtship display between a male and female. The internet is full of misinformation. Mine comes from an ornithologist.
True, and I work with a raptor rehab facility. They actually lock talons in flight for two reasons…courtship and territorially. It’s fairly common for them to hit the ground still locked together, and sometimes one or both end up at a facility like ours.
More like a hornythologist
thanks for bringing rationality into this. of course the new station didn't reach out to a professional.
Surprised they didn’t get shot
No. It's definitely a fight. In a courtship display, they're meant to both let go before hitting the ground. These guys are simply locked in a fight.
There's 2 things this could be
1. It's a male & female that were in a Courting ritual it's called "The cartwheel courtship flight" where they chase each other in the air lock talons and start to fall to the ground & sometimes they don't let go and fall to the ground either could hurt or kill themselves 2. They could also be two males fighting.. Also no they are not "Mating" they only do that in the nest they build together or on a branch💯
Males and females both fight. But courting is never done like this.
Reminds me of when I used to fight my sisters as kids "Let go" "No" "You let go first" 😂🤦
This is America!
The only crime in that neighborhood 😂😂
😂
🦅🦅🦅 *In the last couple of months, I probably taken close to 10 thousand photos and hours and hours of videos of our local pair of bald eagles and it's single fledgling* 🦅🦅🦅
Wings up now!
Is this Plymouth Michigan?
Should have cuffed em.
The courtship goes on at the nest , this was two adults in a territory battle and were exhausted on the ground and probably susceptible to overheating on the road surface.
Interesting... I thought mating... do we know nest is not near enough? Videos I've seen of courtship look like this and a nest is nowhere near in the sense of being right there where they are mating.... maybe nearby but not right at the scene. Do you see other attributes indicating this is not courtship?
@enthusiast1 mid-air intercourse is definitely common too ,
Lol as funny as it is it resembles the state of this country right now even our Bird can't stand eachother 🤷🏾♂️
"Who are you to intervene in our affairs, hominids!?"
"Indeed! Leave us alone or you'll get it!"
God...the audacity of these two legged upright fiends!
This. Is. America.
When David, the Gnome, falls back on the job.
👮: You guys take it easy now.
😂😂😂
Freedom Fighters
Doinking ?
Get the water hose, hose ‘em Apart
Whatever this was courtship or not eagles no matter the species can and will KILL each other in horrific ways so this police officer stopped what could have been a brutal fight
HEEEEE HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE WOT is going ON
the stubbornness lololol
they were pairing
Just when u thought it was safe to be on the streets...we come across these two birds from opposing flocks..my my my...I heard they were both arrested booked and released on bail...
They were mating lol
I don't think that's how eagles fuck
De-escalating tactics 😂😂😂😂😂
Break it up guys come on!
Ive seen dogs get stuck together.
Probably two brothers fighting over a girl!
Should name ‘‘em Joe and Donald
If you have a problem with an animal call your local GAME WARDEN, not the police. Unlike police, game wardens are trained to deal with animals.
Can't stop respecting ur nickname
@@Tommyknocker. If you like that read my bio. 💀
Why are police trying to do the job of the DNR? Just call a wildlife rehab center or something
Depends on where you live what the reaction time would be. These birds were on a road.
Isn't that how eagles mate...🦅❤🥰🤣
NO. The female is on a branch or in her nest when they mate. The male is on top of the females back, not talon to talon.
Get on the ground!!!!
Eagle's Rule
Ehh if one of the eagles owned a gun.. we know who'd win.
save them 🥺
😂 у США теперь новый герб.
More like thinking outside the nest. I bet the two eagles were fighting over a female. No citations? No mandatory community service? Those two got off easy.
When two eagles fight each other they get off scott-free. But when I punch ONE child I'm a convicted felon...
I heard that shooting them calms them down to
You guys didn’t shoot the eagles?
You know, for Officers safety?
They literally couldn’t shoot the bald eagles.
That would be anti-American.
@@bullmoosevelt4495
But….. but….
The officer!
Safety…
Gotta be safe!
@@bullmoosevelt4495the joke is cops shoot first and ask questions later..
My dumbass woulda probably screamed “stop resisting” and jumped on one of em till they let go hood thing it wasn’t me
Too many bald eagles for one video .
Damn birds getting better treatment from the cops!!!!
Probably because they aren't reaching for the weapon....birds have more intelligence
@@deplorablenation111 Yes, and they also have a great deal more intelligence than MAGA dimwits who watch conspiracy videos about pizza gate and other Fox News garbage. 🙄
This is a mating thing they do. Not a fight
Let nature do its thing why get involved
You should have left them alone it all part of nature
They will shoot your family dog, but won't shoot these pesky birds.... at the right angle, you could probably pop them both off with one bullet.
Why do people keep calling eagles a bird. It's clearly a Bald EAGLE
