Watching this in 2023 is interesting. She signed with Dirty Hit, which has probably more limited scope and exposure than some of the major labels that were courting her during this interview. She went very metal for a lot of Sawayama, then mostly hyper pop for most of Hold The Girl. Love her music and love watching her journey and curious to see what she does next.
