Hey guys! I've noticed my sorority video has been getting a little more attention so I thought I'd make another video about it but about the stuff you ~really~ wanna know, ya know. Anywho, there's a lot that goes into greeklife at SDSU and I kinda realized I left some stuff out (expenses, balancing with school, cough cough hazing, etc.) SO if you liked this and wanna see a part 2 lemme know! ok that's it, watch the whole video and I'll love you forever :)

wow! It's funny how much things change, they stay the same. I got to SDSU in '88. Theta, A Chi O and Pi Phi we're the go to sorority. I was a DY back in the day and we had over 700 people in our backyard for TG's on Friday and parties on Saturdays. We'd kill 100 kegs in a weekend.... it was awesome. I know things had to change there but it sounds like you guys are still having fun. Great vid

Go onto Facebook and look at housing/roommate pages for SDSU!! There’s tons of transfers and that’s a great place to find somewhere to live and to find roomies!
For any incoming freshman, I just wanna say it’s really not hard to get into a lot of the bottom frats as someone not in Greek life. I’m not and I still party 3-4 days a week. The parties are still fun, tbh rankings are just determined by money anyways
Where do juniors and seniors usually live? I’m trying to find off campus housing as a junior transfer but I’m not sure how to find a roommate and if i should live closer to campus or near PB!
I would say usually seniors move out to PB and juniors usually live in houses near sdsu. Apartments are always an option too and they can set you up with a roommate or if you go onto Facebook groups for housing for sdsu you can post that you’re looking for a roommate!

I’m going to be a new SDSU student, doing research, and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to go out of my antisocial comfort zone with a sorority? I know this video is years old, but I’m pretty nervous about going to a party school 😅
I would say go for it! The worst thing that happens is you don’t like it so you don’t finish the rush process or don’t join a sorority. I don’t regret rushing and joining a sorority at all!! I made my closest friends doing it.🫶🏻
How do you get into Greek life ?
You have to go through a process called "rushing" where you talk with each sorority to see which one you would fit in best with!
How does initiation work? Is there hazing?
Initiation is different for every chapter, but there’s no hazing. I’ve never experienced it and talking to other girls in other chapters, they didn’t experience it either!
SDSU sounds like Ole Miss and Arkansas
I’m applying to join in a club as well, but sometimes I feel as if people think I know everything. I am going to college to learn and people don’t really have an interest in teaching me things
