    Good comparison👍. The Tr1 seems to be a bit noisy compared to MR1

    The frosted tips, the aviators and the open jacket is a sick combo

    I just bought a gently used 2016 VX Limited today... I pick it up next week. I talked the dealer in to throwing in a $100 neoprene life jacket with the deal. 😎

    How is the 2016 model, 3 cylinder TR1 engine holding up now that you have used it a few seasons now? Any problems?

    It sounds really nice too. The 2015 is much quieter.

    I have a chance to buy one or the other for a $750.00 difference. have you done a side by side drag to see just how bad the 2015 gets spanked? im leaning towards saving the money and going with the tried and true motor, havent heard of any issues with the 2016 at all though. im torn...any thoughts after having them both for a summer?

    • @Reviewoutlaw
      @Reviewoutlaw  Před 7 lety

      Well if you are looking for Speed then the 2016 will Win, if you want it quiet then the 2015 will be your friend, they are putting these same engines in the Yamaha Boats so they should be good but only time will tell. So far they are both a lot of fun! You are going to be happy with either choice!

    great review ... good looking out for us on that kill switch cord .. have you ever towed skier with a vx and are they reliable to last long?

    • @Reviewoutlaw
      @Reviewoutlaw  Před 7 lety

      Yes they can put a skiier/wakeboarder/Tuber no issues if they are heavy it might take longer to get them up but it will do it eventually. I have been using both VX and not had any issues so far. Have a Great Summer!

    I was wondering if there are any restrictions in using jet skis in certain locations or at certain times of the day, with regard to environmental/noise concerns.

    • @Reviewoutlaw
      @Reviewoutlaw  Před 8 lety +2

      There are it depends on the lake you are on, for example near me. Ninagret RI has a very big lake and jet skis are not legal. Which is like making certain roads illegal to motorcycles I don't agree with this at all. If you respect the speed rules it should be able to drive where ever you would like
