this is acutally cracking me up. when i was about 12, and had just watched "a knight's tale", i fell madly in love with him. later on i really understood how unique his talent is, and how he wondrously stayed so down to earth even though he had so many success movies, and even though somehow everybody seemed to adore him. i remember the morning when i heard on the radio that he had died, i just didn't want to believe it. and still, it's a great shock. RIP, sir ulrich von lichtenstein
I miss him soo much!! I and I love his voice even though I'm crying while I'm writing this because I miss him, such a great handsome man.

Man poor Heath he was such a terrific actor and a down to earth and kind man its a shame he had to leave us at such an early stage in his life. I guess its true- the best die young. Many of his close friends and family members have said that his mood or personality was not affected by his role as the Joker. I don't know if that's what you're referring to, but I'm guessing it is. I also heard that he did not like how famous he had gotten by the time of his death, so maybe the interviews made him uncomfortable

Ok, I'm spanish and the voice of the man who speaks for him in the movies has a total normal voice but OMG! He had the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. And he was such a great actor, and he was so hot and gorgeous... I'm crying while I'm writting this becouse I cannot belive he's dead!

What a beautiful man! I felt soo sad to think that he is no longer living, and yet, his Being is so rare... I just feel inspired to say that someone of such depth MUST live forever! I do believe that the soul lives on and that is a comforting thought, because I believe it is true. And because Heath, you have touched my heart and that touching does go beyond time and space. Love and Blessings to Heath and all his family!
This is how I want to remember him. He is so calm and collected. He was such an amazing actor...can't believe he is really gone. Its unbelievable, and at such a young age too. He defined acting in his own personal way and his movies he played in are all amazing. What a great loss to the whole acting world. I will miss seeing him in movies, he was incredible. Miss you and we will never forget you. RIP Heath Ledger.

A Knight's Tale is such a GOOD movie. He was a good actor, one of the few guys that went beyond his fanbase of lonely teenage girls to actually become a master of his craft. Every movie that he was in was better because of it.

He had insomnia and a number of other problems before, during, and after the filming of The Dark Knight. The filming conditions were pretty bad though. It was constantly cold and damp outside so he was sick on set. This may have had something to do with it but playing a "dark character" wasn't the reason he died like people are saying. I totally agree with you.

Really different to his later interviews about Dark Knight. Knights Tale was my childhood favorite, and then I was terrified to go see Dark Knight in theaters after my state's shooting. I wish he could've come back from it and been here today.

Yeah he was a great actor. Some other actors that died around the same age are Brandon Lee that died when he was 28, River Phoenix when he was 23 and Justin Pierce that played Casper in Kids died at 25 and James Dean died at 24. There are probably other actors that died around that age but those are the ones that I can think of.

I remember when he died.. My pops was cooking dinner at1pm..I know, he likes cooking early..and he said "you know that actor that played in brokeback mountain, well he died" and my 1st intentional response was "Nooo, nooo. No fucking way" and my pops said "put on Fox news" and i said " what channel" and I was watching for hours on end..and my pops was still cooking... and in june that same year 2008 my pops passed away...My life changed from there
