He never lost, never looked vulnerable, never changed his style. You knew what he was going to do and, maybe you get in a few kicks like Justin did, and after that it was deep water and drown. No one could stop him they talked that's it. Even Oliveira got in before he was neutered by Islam, saying he would stop Islam in the first round and bring Khabib out of retirement and stop him too. Well now people know they might still deny but they know Khabib is the best because even Islam couldn't defeat him and Islam breezed through the next bjj hope.

funny thing is dana want him to come back. why dana dont make this fight after ufc 229 callout after he win the belt. if i remember correctly he callout gsp. if dana want it and has the power, resource to do it he already did. this was just to make khabib come back. khabib is a guy who take his word and promises seriously.
Dana tried pulling a slick one. He called GSP and told him khabib wants to fight you. At the same time, he called khabib and told him GSP wants to fight you. Dana lied to both of them. He was hoping both will say yeah to the fight. It backfired on dana. Dana should have just been upfront with it

But the bottom line is that GSP has losses against his name. Winning in rematches does not make that loss record go away… In a sport that screams blood, sweat and broken bones, there was one man who never bled, sweat and never had broken bones. That says a lot…. Isn’t it?
One can’t help if his opponents were not on his level. Few even ducked him… His was/is the toughest division with top level elite fighters yet NOBODY, I mean “NOBODY” was able to solve “the Khabib riddle” .
One might argue that he quit to keep his record 29-0 intact. Now pls answer this, who would fight to lose? Of course everybody would want to win all the matches and stay undefeated forever but only one man could achieve that and at the highest ever level.
