If you throw a bowling ball while you are sitting on an office chair (without your legs touching the ground of course), the friction of the ball on the atmosphere isn't whats pushing you around lol. Another thing. Get yourself a telescope and the ISS finder app on your phone. No, you can't see the ISS because it doesn't exist. Even if it did, you really think your are going to see a football field sized twig from 1.3 million feet away?! (250 miles) You can barely see a passenger jet at 39000 feet.

    • @HD-fy2wu
      @HD-fy2wu Před 6 lety +121

      You can see it not because of its size, but the light it emits. Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky (star, not planet). It has a diameter of about 1.6 million miles and is 8.6 light years away from Earth. So it is merely about 0.00000177° across when view it from Earth.
      A passenger jet with a length of 100 feet at 39000 feet from the ground is about 0.15° across when view it from the ground.
      So the fact that you can see Sirius in the night sky but not the passenger jet is because you are not actually seeing Sirius, you are seeing the light it emits, and the same goes for the ISS. If not the bright white spot you saw in the video would have been a football field filled with solar panels, wouldn't it?
      By the way the ISS covers about 0.013° across when view it from the ground. That is still much larger than that of Sirius and almost the same as Venus when closest to Earth (0.017°). Venus reflects light from the Sun and it is the brightest planet in the night sky, even brighter than Sirius. If we can't see ISS in the night sky, we can't see any other stars as well.

    • @phalanyx3478
      @phalanyx3478 Před 6 lety +2

      Hakuchu, can you prove that Sirius is 1.6 million miles and 8.6 light years away? I can't verify that let alone believe it without appealing to authority. All I saw regarding planets and stars is just regurgitaton of beliefs. You expect me to believe that a random white light in the sky is a multi-billion dollar "space station" when there are no videos of NASA constructing the ISS with prefabricated parts shuttled up there, even after they faked 6 moonlandings? Are you serious?

    • @HD-fy2wu
      @HD-fy2wu Před 6 lety +103

      You can measure it by measuring the difference in the angle after you observe it 2 times with a 6 months interval. Then take the reciprocal of the tangent of half that angle and you get the distance of Sirius in terms of AU. After knowing the distance, calculate the diameter by multiplying the distance with the tangent of the angle that it covers.
      Modern technology has made many achievements that were once thought impossible possible. Simple things like measuring the distance of stars or fitting Terabytes of information onto a small disc are possible today. If you do not believe that Sirius is 8.6 light years away you just measure yourself.

    • @phalanyx3478
      @phalanyx3478 Před 6 lety +3

      Hakucho, I need to assume certain things are true when making the calculations, like size, distance. Using angles with assumed numbers isn't factual.

Also, wear a pair of tinfoil shoes and solder both shoes to the negative side of the *FULL BRIDGE RECTIFIER* to release your negative energy. Last, wear them tightly and connect your *FULL BRIDGE RECTIFIER* to the mains and there you have it! The government now won't able to control your mind! Guaranteed!

That's a whole lot of money. The satellite is another example. If they do believe in flat Earth theory, they won't use satellite to prove flat Earth because launching satellite itself debunks flat Earth but they don't care because it's the source of money. So, this is actually not about the truth, but this is about gaining money using people stupidity, which is clever but also sad.

    • @ahmadbro8051
      @ahmadbro8051 Před 4 lety +3

      @@saqaryahmadi1671 Depends from where did the engine get Oxygen to oxidize the fuel in order for it to start burning.
      If it is Air-Breathing like a Jet Engine wich suck air and get the Oxygen from, then you're out of luck by launcing your Jet Powered ICBM in vaccum just for it to suffocate.
      But, if it uses a proper rocket engine that uses 2 Mix of fuel. For example RP-1 (Rocket grade kerosene) and LOX (Liquid OXigen).
      And what you need to do is to pump the RP-1 and LOX into the combustion chamber and then ignited, the combustion reaction can be sustained so your ICBM can keep running because it carry it's own supply of Oxidizer. (Just remember to keep the combustion chamber pressurized)
      Maybe we can use some analogy here.
      Imagine the Jet Engine is Us (Human) wich live normally on land by breathing air to get the oxygen to keep ourself running and alive. We just can't breathe underwater without any equipment or you will suffocate and meet your maker.
      Unlike the Jet Engine. Imagine the Rocket Engine is like when a diver went diving on the sea floor with many oxygen tanks on their back. They have their own supply of air with oxigen so divers can keep running and be alive where a normal human being without any equipment will just suffocate and die.
      So, can your weapon start from space? Well technically it can. Congrats!
      PS: just don't put me on the other side of that ICBM.
      And please correct me if im wrong
