At Joann's fabrics I currently have 100% acrylic big twist value it has 380 yd 6 oz and the color is rust I also go to hobby lobby and I use a red color as well similar but it's more silkier it depends on the texture and what you're looking for I honestly recommend trying hobby lobby they have a bigger assortment they usually have everything on sale and you can try different colors many many different colors
Yes you will need to remove the head and wash it to end prepare the head for giving her new hair I highly recommend the yarn from hobby lobby it's silky it's soft it's perfect
Hi how did you do the front row of just curls? I understand how to do it with a long and short piece of yarn to make it a 2nd row of curls and then long hair. I just don't understand how to do the front row of curls. Please any advice would be so thankful for.
I use the rooting tool and my thumb keeping an inch and a half of the curl out on each row it's hard to explain it's easier to show I'm sorry I don't have a cabbage patch kid at this time I can reboot to show people exactly how to do it I do apologize
Hi I was wondering what the brand and color of the yarn you used for this pretty little red head. Thanks

So, the head has to come off to do the restoration of the hair? I have mine from 1983 and half of her hair is gone

And you may need to buy a small bag of stuffing to give her new stuffing so her body can be more fluffy and not as flat
