Good luck on your exams! Also, please look into the boycotts happening, primarily focused on Starbucks & McDonald’s. Gaza needs our support in every way possible!

Often in college, especially in Liberal Arts majors like history and political science, students take a cram-and-dump approach to their exams. They simply memorize the material, regurgitate it on the exam, and do well. Law school exams are Very Different than college exams. Cram-and-dump Will Not Work. To do well on a law school exam, yes, you still have to memorize a vast amount of material, but then you must learn how to apply it. You must learn to analyze a fact pattern, discern the legal issues, and then apply the governing law. They are very different tests, they can be very tough, and it is common for someone to who was an A student in college to become a C student in law school. It's actually one of the few things I think law school gets right, because as a lawyer, analyzing facts and applying the proper law/legal remedies is the core of what you do in practice. Issue-spotting matters both in law school and in the real practice of law.

I’m a teacher with a masters degree, but am thinking about getting my paralegal certification (1 year program). Do you think having this background helped you get into law school? That would be my long term goal. Thank you! Your videos are super helpful!
