    The Fredericton Marathon I've heard is a great first marathon route.

      I hope so fingers crossed 🤞 It does seem like a fairly flat course which is great for me because my plan/hope would be to hold a consistent pace throughout the race with not to many surprises. A lot of uphill or even downhill might have me making bad decisions. But that is just my thoughts

    Wow, inspiring will be doing my first half marathon later this year and I'm using Hal Higdon's program as well! Thanks to your video I realised that the app was free to use as well, much appreciated!

      I felt the way Higdon structures his programs it can give you a solid base and the confidence that you can run a strong race. His programs really don’t try to over complicate things. This really helps, especially if it your first time running a given distance. You are going to absolutely crush your half marathon 💪👍

    I trained using Hal’s program. I did the half marathon one. I trained and stuck to it. I didn’t miss a day. I actually added weight training. Upper and lower body weight training. This helped me tremendously. I did my half marathon. Easy. I’m signed up to do it again. Best of luck. Kim

      That’s great to hear. I have been doing a decent amount of strength training to. Strength training was kind of where I really got into fitness, so when I started training for the marathon I kept it up (not as much but still a few times a week).

    I’m looking forward to seeing this HH plan. I subscribed to the Jack Daniels VDotO2 Adaptive Training plan 5 weeks ago and love it so far. I think they are similar. ✌🏻
