I have 2 PCP`s but spent this morning shooting one of my springers. Like you say, you have to go back to basics and shoot properly. There is someting about a springer that I just love. I used to use a 7.62 SLR in a previous life (best rifle ever) and loved feeling the recoil. Although not quite the same, the springer is the closest I can legaly get to that. And it does take more skill than a point and shoot PCP. I still use my 1973 Diana Series 70 Model 73 for shorter ranges. Keep up the good work, great videos.

Nice content as always guys. I think new people entering shooting should get a better scopes straight away.as It will help their targeting leading to more accuracy and enjoyment and you don't have to spend loads to get one .maybe you could do video on scopes in the lower and mid price ranges and differences this would help newcomers to the sport.i started with scope that came with first gun then got a bugbuster which improved my shooting no end.now I have an imersive optics witch I got from range and country and that is fabulous.

I’ve got BSA springers from the 60’s 70’s and 80’s that are a lot more accurate, and you can find them for the same money or less!

Just a observation on scopes. When you get older (77 in my case) cheap scopes are no good. Impossible to get focus and you can often see a double reticule. After getting an AO scope, what a difference. You can adjust it to be perfectly clear.

Truly can't believe that two reviewers who assume work for Range & County Airguns can't be bothered to put a decent scope onto the rifle to show it's best potential and also didn't even mention the fact that all rifles, be they PCP, Rimfire or break barrel springers, etc, all have best suited pellets and ammunition for that particular rifle barrel etc, and that you also didn't even tests a variety of pellets to show this. That some rifles may be more pellet fussy than others etc. You also mention the utter nonsense that I hear from other shooters claiming that a silencer doesn't benefit a springer rifle due to the mechanical noice from the spring. This is utter rubbish, all rifles that have a bark at the end of the barrel will benefit from a silencer. That some PCP rifles have a load bark and also hammer spring noice and that when the bark is suppressed by a silencer you can hear the hammer spring even more, just as you can with a break barrel. Maybe you lot need to watch a good few reviews yourselves and do some testing to even see for yourself. I've even done all of this myself personally with my variety of rifles.

Hello i feel you were not putting the pellets in properly the 3 bad shots on the first target the gun didn’t close normally so the pellets could of been skirt squashed. Maybe re check! Looks like a great way to get people into air guns.👍🏼
