    Hi, great review btw... I have a question, perhaps you could help me. I just bought this motherboard, and I want to put an Arctic Liquid Freezer 2, AIO on it for the cpu cooler. I noticed the VRM fan on the cooler looks like it would extend over the VRM, which is where Gigabyte put their aluminum heat sink fins for passive cooling of the VRM. Do you know if the Arctic Liquid Freezer 2 would work for this mother board?, despite the VRM fan looking like it would interfere with the passive cooling heat sinks?

    Was hoping for a comment about the SSD heatsinks at the 20 minute mark. Was going between two boards. The other didn't have the SSD heatsinks. Trying to decide if the SSD's that come with the heatsink would be more effective.

    Hi! That was a great tutorial on building a system with this board.
    For my future build, i plan to buy this board with a Core i5-13600k and G Skill Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600 PC4 28800. My idea is to fit on it the Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Dual tower as my cooler. Will it fit with the rest if i get a Full ATX Case?

      Make sure before you do anything with the board that you update to the latest BIOS which at the time of this reply is f8
      There were quite a few fixes for memory issues in earlier versions

    • @Silent157
      @Silent157  Před 2 lety

      Definitely can agree there, especially since if there's any issue such as bricking it, you can always exchange it with your original retailer.

      you can use a locked cpu on z690, it's meant for unlocked K chips but even locked processors can benefit. the price is the main thing you have to consider.

    • @DecadesDiner

      I3 1700 currently around 140.00 , I5 12600k - 277, I7 13700 - 450 , I9 13900 690. Z690 for the I3 with choice of upgrades at a later date makes perfect sense. Not everyone can afford builds of two to three thousand dollars. Why not buy a board that will support the higher end CPUs and overclocking ?
