Before saying India, I would first like to know who the shareholders of these companies located in India are.
It isn't because they are in India that all the money goes into the pockets of Indians.
In any case, sooner or later the money always goes into the same pockets, the same pockets that pay US politicians.
Because if US politicians decide on these policies with these consequences, it's because there are people who must have told these politicians to do so so that they can make billions in the process.
It would surprise me if US politicians obeyed or followed the orders of Indians.

What have happened however is that the sanctioned countries, naturally, created their own market so... yes sanctions have become pretty much useless unless everyone is on the same page. If you can convince everyone to sanction, well then it probably still work but since some unsanctioned nations just have to refuse to sanction and then resell those goods on the other market, well ofc sanctions don't work, all it causes is adding a middle man in the mix.

We're refining it and selling it to europe. It's technically not crude oil but rather petrol, diesel etc. We've also dropped buying oil from the US. Also it's not the government doing the dealing but private companies. Surely private companies can do what they want. We've not had much drop in fuel prices though. Basically the same. European baboons were talking about putting sanctions on our Jamnagar Oil Refinery(the largest oil refinery in the world) that is refining the oil which they were buying. Can you believe it? These people are psychotic. They want to shoot themselves in the head through our foot.

    • @raakbas1

India refines the crude and sells it for a decent premium mutually agreed between the European countries which buy it. Greek Tankers are used. India doesn't gouge the EU like the US did in selling LNG. It charged EU 4X the Russian price!
One more thing, the US does not have the capability to refine Uranium ore anymore. As it off shored it's businesses, and stopped building reactors in the 70s, that capability was lost. Only a few countries like Russia, China and India have that expertise now.
