His great FG% has more to do with taking fewer shots outside of 10 ft. He is taking 77% of his shots within 10 ft of the basket, coming into this season he was only taking 65% of shots within 10 ft. His improvement has more to do with not take low percentage (for him) shots and less to do with improved shooting. He has definitely improved between at the rim and 10 ft, but he is not a "good" midrange shooter by any metric.

The team needed to make the decision of bringing in offensive power to help in the first half of the season and just in case Kris didn't heal fully in time for the playoffs. Lillard became an option and rhe Bucks had to make the hard decision to part with a few pieces of the Bucks. Jrue Holiday was a painful parting for many Bucks fans and ultimately, we will know likely in the post season when the Bucks meet the Celtics in the ECF.

Giannis became my fave player back in 2017. He worked very hard to improve and had been steadily improving. There were several times when his heart was doubted but he proved it when he became a champion. Hopefully he does it again in the near future.
