I'm very very late to the DGD fandom. I just started listening to them like a month ago and I'm hooked and I love the stuff with Tillian but this song... that chorus stopped me in my tracks the first time I heard it.
I love dgd too. Def more into the pre tillian stuff. His vocals are too flamboyant.

Tillian is just a terrible fit for DGD, in my personal opinion. Kurt Travis did them a bit of justice, but Jonny will always stand as the best vocalist. I saw him solo a few yrs back, and at $20 a ticket, id see him every fucking month if I could!!! His voice is amazing ❤️❤️

I have been listening to these guys since I was 14 and moved to Melbourne, VIC in 2007. This album in particular was hugely influential to me as a guitarist and a songwriter, and I still get full body chills at 2:18.

For me, the most emotional album is definitely Death Star. The instrumentals just... I can barely explain it. The instrumentals themselves make me feel and think about a lot of stuff, to put it lightly. It's beautiful.

Started getting into them in 2012. This stuff was new to me and I jammed to thus album; everyone was dissing on me for "listening to the older stuff." Regardless. To this day I listen to one or more songs daily. It pumps me up for a shitty day to come. They shed happiness into a lifeless day. All if the three singers bring their own twidt and pkay their souls out and I love it. Will Swan has to be one of the best guitar players in the world.
