I enjoy the remake but new nightmare I find very boring and slow

Thanks for watching, man! Yeah, people always despise the remake for the goofiest reasons. Some are valid, for sure, but the valid ones never seem to be what they focus on. Shame lol. I’ll be honest, man, I’m not even sure if I’m going to have time to do a Hellraiser marathon, due to the Halloween one. I’m going to try to do both, but it’s going to be viscous lol. I also just realized that Jeepers Creepers: Reborn is coming out, soon, and I definitely won’t have time to review that one, too hahah. Kind of a bummer-wish I had more free time to do that. I’m hoping I can finish my Goosebumps stuff up by next summer, so I can put more attention to this channel and the other book review channel lol. Oh, well. What are you more excited for-Halloween or Hellraiser? Lol. Just curious. Mine’s for sure Halloween. I was one of the few that really loved most of Kills. God bless you, man! I’ve rewatched the movies recently and here is my ranking as of now (I’m shocked my ranking has changed up). 1. A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (masterpiece) 2. Freddy Vs. Jason (very good, for the right reasons of Freddy and Jason fighting and the goosebumps alum; I have bias with it) 3. A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984) (it’s good but my recent watch made me see how it hasn’t aged well and tbh, it’s slightly overrated) 4. A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge (good, for how different it is, I think this is the most refreshing shake up in the franchise; bad acting though) 5. A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: Dream Master (good) 6. Wes Craven’s New Nightmare (good, but like a low good) 7. A Nightmare On Elm Street (2010) (Decent, too shot for shot to me) 8. Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare (Laughably Bad) 9. A Nightmare On Elm Street 5: Dream Child (Laughably bad but pretty off putting)

Ranking the Remake above the original Boo this man lol I'm just messing with you anyway it's good to see a list that is different from the standard Nightmare film lists. I think for film reviews or rankings and such it comes down to how you judge movies or how you critique them. Are you someone who judges movies based on how well they execute their artistic merit or are you someone that critiques movies based on entertainment value more?. For me, the original is hands down the best if you want pure scary Freddy if you want pure entertainment Freddy I would say go with 3 and 4. I really enjoy New Nightmare but it isn't really meant to be a Nightmare movie its a Freddy movie but not a Nightmare on Elm Street movie more like a spin-off that focuses on cerebral ideas and themes about what Horror movies mean and how they can contain fear and such but it isn't really a slasher except in the basic terms. Freddy's Dead I used to hate for not being scary enough but it has grown on me over time if you can accept it as the live-action cartoon it is then the movie is a fun time even if the script is bad in my opinion.
