    This really will be a game changer for those of us who have tried (more than once) Finasteride but to no avail due to side effects. I will definitely be trying this if I can get access to it in Australia. Once again a great video Melvin and thanks for sharing! 🙏

    I take oral finasteride and topical minoxidil, both with zero side effects. Honestly wish that oral minoxidil was safe for your heart as it would be so much easier to pop a pill than apply foam minoxidil to my scalp every day, but I am not risking my cardiovascular health over it. But for people who experience side effects with oral fin, I hope this gives the desired outcome.

    The main problem is that it will be expensive. Generic finasteride is cheap. Personally I wouldn't pay any more than €25 for a months supply of any topical, especially for a topical version of an off patent drug.

    Does Dr. Hasson formulate the topical finasteride exclusively with XyonHealth? I remember the topical was formulated at a specific pharmacy associated with Hasson & Wong, and I want to know if there are differences in the formula. Is the only way to get this topical through XyonHealth?

    • @HairTransplantNetwork

      Dr. Hasson formulates it now with Xyobnhealth, he used to work with a lab in Italy in the beginning, but now he has a patented gel. The vehicle is different.

      The percentage doesn’t equals mg because it doesn’t absorb through the scalp at the same rate. In essence, it is a stronger dose, that absorbs on par with 0.05% topicals, due to the patented delivery gel.

    I have a question I did a dna test from Fagron and they told me I am a not gene responder for hairloss finasteride and that I only benefit from dutasteride, I only have very mild hairloss in the temples, is their such a thing as genes that not respond to finasteride?

  • @user-pz8vo7wh6l
    @user-pz8vo7wh6l Před 3 měsíci

    I have been using XYON 2.5% topical finasteride with 3% minoxidil gel daily for the past 1.5 months. After the first 2 weeks I noticed some sides such as loss of sex interest and more importantly loss of morning erection (which I used to have daily before starting the topical gel). To exclude the psychological effect, I kept using the gel daily hoping things would change if it was only in my head. Unfortunately, It’s still the same sides. My concern is that this 2.5 % is super high dose (=25 mg finasteride on scalp). So even if very little absorbed, say 5% of the 25 mg, it means 1.25 mg goes systemic which is like an oral dose). Any insight or feedback ?!
    On a side note, not sure if it’s of any relevance, two weeks after starting the gel, I experienced problems in the two arms joints (shoulder and elbows) little pain and stiffness especially at night. This never happened to me before so I wondered if it’s related to the finasteride or it’s just a coincidence!!
