Obsidian Config Settings
Obsidian Theme Config needs both the Minimal Theme Setting and Style Settings plugins installed. Use the Import option in Style Settings and paste the config into it. I will put the config at the bottom of the description.

What are your favorite productivity apps on your iPad?
Why have you stopped using Craft? I am using Craft since you've introduced me to it and for me nothing comes even close.
It's always been Craft. I tried so many apps but I will still come back to Craft.
Hi, I´m good with the Apple Ecosystem (Notes, Mail, Reminders,Freeform) but i love to use also MindNode, My Script Calculator and Opener.
I use Goodnotes 6 and I love it!! And I use Apple reminders.
Ulysses, Obsidian, Muse, Devonthink, Highlights… drafts a bit
I tend to use Apple's built-in productivity apps as my primary choice.
Same here. The Achilles heel of using a bunch of 3rd party apps: SUCKSCRIPTIONS. It’s death by a thousand cuts.

Same for me on my personal iPad, phone and Macs as they all sync. Notes gets better by the os releases. For work I use the full fat MS Office for business system. Very powerful and can still sync with Apple gear. The latest iPad releases are also very attractive.
@@left0vertureThings 3 isn’t a subscription, which is pretty crazy given how good it is. Will be interesting to see if they try to move in that direction with Things 4

Things 3 is great task manager! really changed how I approach my daily work and life. I love its simplicity and how it makes my mindset not overwhelmed by tasks.
I’m using Craft for my note taking app. But I’m going to give Obsidian a try. Looking forward to your video with it!
I currently use Notion for my yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily planners along with projects, goals, and notes. I use tasks databases for my projects and the simple to do block for my daily tasks in my daily and weekly options
I’ve gone all in on Apple Notes/Reminders as a note taking and task manager combo, and then using GoodNotes as a “planner” in the loosest sense. My days are pretty routine, so I don’t need anything too powerful.
Seeing other systems is useful, though, even if I don’t use them as-is. I had a whole planner/bullet journal system before that was waaaay too complex. Even something like Notion is too much for my day-to-day
I've used Things for a while, but it's never stuck. Then I watched your video and smacked myself in the head - set the start day of long-running tasks to when you will start the task and the deadline to the due date. So simple, yet I completely missed it. Thanks!

As a very long term Things user, I really enjoyed seeing how you use it. My biggest issue is always that I’m putting too many todos in there, and I rarely get to most of them. Any tips you have for keeping that in check?

Hi, how do you export from Obsidian to PDF on your iPad? I just can't seem to get it working. But thanks you for the great video! :D
I use Bear as general markdown note editor, and NotePlan for planing out the work day. The reason I currently stick with NotePlan is, that it allows me to add markdown notes to calendar events.
Can you give slight direction on how to import the obsidian settings you posted? I have the two plugins, yet can’t seem to find an import option.

Can you do a video about your keyboard collection? I’d like to start collecting/building my own keyboards this year.
Regarding calendar input, have you ever tested the natural input through Siri / Spotlight? Especially if you have a keyboard attached, it is SOO easy to add new events.

Hey Chris! I’m getting an iPad Air 5, and want to get a dock for it, but I’m unsure of which to choose. Do you know any good ones (preferably with a headphone input) which don’t connect straight to the device (so they work with a case)?
Is obsidian without sync worth it for free? Thing I like about apple notes is syncing

Regarding your exceptions to the project rule, I'd honestly say that within Things, "bills" and "house" would be their own area and so those two could move immediately and allow more flexibility. I have a "House" and then an "Admin & Finances" area which covers things like bills, general life admin etc.
House being a area is definitely a good idea, especially when you imagine you'd almost definitely have projects within your house, for things like renovations, maintenance - I even have repeating tasks under "House" for things like sharpening knives, mowing the lawn, all kinds of similar things.
1 of 3 tasks that I have requires attachments. Things 3 misses that essential feature. How do you deal with that? Thank you

I love that you have the Finder icon on the left for the Files app. How did you make that happen?
You make a shortcut for it, to open files and the add the shortcut to the homescreen and you can change the icon of the shortcut.
Things it's undoubtedly my favorite.

I don’t think has all the times and stuff yet. Mine just updated cause I subscribed to the calendar and didn’t download it. I’m not going to stress about it until it gets closer. Also thank you!!

How did you journal with good notes
I just imported my PDF template. There are a ton out on the web. Then I just write in it. In goodnotes if you swipe to the left you will get a new page with that template.
Obsidian is the best!! The plugins make it next level.

I still use fantastical but just without the subscription and it’s pretty fine for me

What is the little macos symbol at the bottom there for?
That is Files. I just used Shortcuts to replace the icon. I’ll talk about it more in the utilities video of this series.

Why not just use the free version of Fantastical? That way you’d still be able to use the natural language interface.

So many redundancies though.
The thing I find really un-inspirational about those note-taking apps is they resemble an email client too much, I prefer the old spiral bound Filofax look that Samsung used to do years ago... I guess that's why I use an e-ink device for notes and reading, as it feels allot more natural and distraction free. My iPad usually gets used for procreate, fresco and CZcams... I'm struggling to feel inspired to use anything else on the iPad, hence me seeing what others use here on YT... Thanks for sharing.
