This actually makes me want to look into the fashion of Ai planet more. The more simple direction could have been interesting, but like everything else in this weird section of the franchise, it felt rushed.
It was unique. they seemed to be relying on the improved graphics to show off e.g Bright Sapphire's fabric, Rose's hair. But then they just kept making bad coords and eventually changed their vision
Love this analysis and the og series comparisons 💖💖💖 The Fairy dressia are definitely my favorites, and cafe is really cute too 🥹 Totally agree that they could have expanded more on the fashion if they had more time to explore it.
I loved the Fairy Dressia, it's actually my favourite Dressia from Aikatsu Planet ^^ It's hard to choose a favourite because they all have pretty designs ^^ Great video as always ^^
The thing i feel like thats missing is sala making the dresses i know that sounds weird but in aikatsu stars koharu had such a big role when making lauras Star PR and that was such an incredible moment in aikatsu stars also in aikatsu friends when aine had 3 days to make a new pr chiharu also contributed to it as well i wouldve love to see more of that in aikatsu planet having the relationship between one another and properly discussing the dress making I felt like that would’ve brought the show more potential which is why i think hanas dresses may have been lacking if that makes sense😅 Because dresses are an important asset to an idol but i really loved aurora Pegasus especially when kaya hanas va wore it live it was so pretty
I think Stars also emphasized the importance of PRs by not giving them to the main characters so it feels more important that way. Friends also had some good stuff from the designers early on
Could you do a review of the aikatsu 10th story movie as it's getting a bluray release (a possible English sub) in a few days? I was thinking maybe you could do a video of what you would like if original aikatsu had a 5th season and we would have a new generation of idols and get cameos of the other older idols?
@@Ezzdogerr_ Well it's my own personal opinion, so you don't have to agree but basically she's way too OP imo. She wins almost every single performance, we don't really see her working for it either, we just get a couple scenes of her running. That's not enough to make her seem like a hard-worker to me. Also, the position of the top idol is straight up given to her. What happened to other characters who worked hard to get to the top like Ichigo or Yume? Honestly she's just a badly-written character all around, but she's not the worst protagonist. It's still Raki. At least Hana tried, unlike Raki who we've never seen whatsoever training.

Honestly I don’t get why they changed so much with aikatsu planet, I get change is good but aikatsu planet is just not good (in my opinion) story sucks, mc sucks, songs are alright at best (I liked the last song tho), outfits are more my style but really boring, wish they kept with something at least kinda similar to aikatsu, or aikatsu stars (I didn’t watch friends but I like the songs and outfits), also what’s up with the new mcs and nepotism, she just becomes the best idol???? Where’s the ichigo treatment where she worked really hard or even akari where she finds her self (style wise and maybe personality wise but again I didn’t bother watching)
I think it was an attempt to make a brand new story with the best elements of other series. The story and characters took inspiration from Ichigo gen but it lacked its own Identity I made a video about Aikatsu's Identity Crisis and I still think they forgot why the show worked. It's just not a very strong concept

A lot of people feel that way about Mao. It's a real shame. I don't blame anyone though. The show was far from perfect
