    I mean you go to a ship under construction with that long hair!? 😅 Oh girl!! 🙈
    The ships looks massive, not sure if will surprise people as Oasis did in 2009 but definitely it’s another marvelous from engineering. 👌

    I love when you guys cover cruise ships - I'm living on cruise ships as a passenger for all of this year, and have just got off of Symphony of the Seas. What Royal Caribbean are building here is truly remarkable - thanks for sharing some great footage in this video!

    I love the Oasis class ships, been on Harmony twice, Icon and Icon class looks even more immense. They have definitely borrowed a couple of ideas from Celebrity and Carnival for this build but a lot of original ideas too. Looks awesome. I probably won't be on it for a few years though.
    Next two cruises are with Celebrity but I hope to be back on an Oasis class ship in Spring 2024 whichever is sailing out of Florida at that time.

    Are RCL trying to recoup the $1.3 bill in cost on its first sailing? Have you seen how much this is for a week? Madness.

      It’s normal for a brand new ship.

      @@beingmboi23 I was the 13th person to stay in 8543 on Symphony in 2018 and I did not pay 3 times the amount for it. Sounds like profiteering to me.

    • @beingmboi23

      @@911HRW thats 4 years ago, the economy has changed and the value of the dollar has dropped. The 2018 prices then were also considered high compared to the Harmony or Oasis in years prior 2013-16. This is a whole new class.

      @@beingmboi23 So is it “normal” for a brand new ship or is it “4 years ago and times have changed”?

    • @beingmboi23
      @beingmboi23 Před 11 měsíci +2

      @@911HRW it’s goes hand and hand because it’s new and costs has went up from previous builds. This goes for all new ships. They will on average be more expensive in the first few years. You can expect for Utopia to be the most expensive Oasis Class ship (yes, even over Wonder) come summer 24 as it would be the newest vessel with the latest and greatest

    as high as it is, i cant imagine it beeing save in dangerous waters with all that weight.

      they dont sail these types of ships in dangerous waters, mainly carribbean places

    • @davva360
      @davva360 Před 11 měsíci

      All about buoyancy and weight distribution. All the weight in the design is in the center of the ship and mostly low down in the ship. That helps make it inherently stable. I have been on an Oasis class ship twice and you hardly feel any movement at all even on the upper decks.

    While it sounds fascinating, it is just too big. Plus the word "iconic" is so ridiculously overused. I might travel on it but it will simply devastate ports. Can you imagine this thing docking in Amsterdam, Juneau or Venice??? I assume this vlogger is paid by Royal Caribbean.

    This ship makes me so sad.... Oasis class ships were the worst ever created. MAJOR shopping malls with ZERO outside views to the ocean. seems like lots of people just want a big structure with crappy food, shopping and trashy little gimmicks in stead of enjoying a nice cruise on the OCEAN!!! Now they took the only thing I liked about the Oasis class (The forward solarium) and turned it into bars. So sad

    Royal Caribbean and other cruise lines building large ships are ruining port destinations.
