I stopped playing late last summer and I've been having a hard time letting myself sit down and play really any video games at all, hoping I can get back to it soon though. @@albinwhisperland if this is something you’re interested in, I’d really love watching an asmr series where you start an island from scratch and just do the daily tasks and other things that we normally find monotonous in animal crossing gameplay! I think it would be so relaxing and sleep-inducing to watch someone chop wood from trees and fish and hunt for bugs etc.

Anyone else bothered by how many pages of magazine are just ads that you're paying for 😂
Yeah because printed magazines are kind of dying out because we have social media now 😬 I work in social/internet media and I’ve seen smaller magazines just stop printing altogether because they just couldn’t make enough physical sales and the whole thing was basically taken over by ads just to make money. Sometimes they would give a stack for free to my boss just to get people reading it and keep advertisers I suppose. Not to mention that it can be hard to even find advertisers at that point...It’s kind of sad but also we don’t have much use for this kind of media anymore (other than amazing ASMR ofc hehe). Even blogs which have tried to replace magazines (which is what I work for) need social media to continue and actually make any money and we have to fill our website with ads to make anything from it 😅 crazy world we live in
@@user-we8dn5ub9z that has been the case for 15+ years though unfortunately and why a lot of people switched to the internet/blogs in the first place (and the accessibility to become a creator). Better for the environment anyway and good riddance to the snobbery
I mean, to be fair, the entire magazine is an ad for clothing and shoes and accessories, right? ^^' I agree with you tho that it's kinda weird to have an ad on every page.
@@douloureux. i agree with you as it's definitely better for the environment to get rid of commercial magazines! Although, there are some magazines that are local, small businesses (often those are the recyclable paper ones too!) which unfortunately will go under if they can't make the transition to digital. There are also things like The Big Issue that give jobs to marginalised people which will be sad if that eventually dies out too because of disinterest in physical magazines. Also it's one of those industries where I'm certain the people with the jobs at the bottom will suffer from being laid off while the higher-ups are fine to rebrand to digital 😒

As someone who lives in Los Angeles, and came from the north and midwest, I want to dispel this stereotype that people are freaked out by chatty people. LA is made of a lot of different neighborhoods stitched together like a quilt so it's like lots of small towns all glued together. And a lot of people here are in the entrainment industry...and we like to talk, even to random people we don't know. Sometimes more than people we DO know! Like most things, you get out of LA what you put into LA!
