The Cummins-Swapped Chevy Square Body Hauls My New Race Trailer!

- This is a big day! Episode 278 continues the whirlwind two weeks of my life that saw me break Blasphemi at the dragstrip in Alabama, rush to have the transmission repaired in North Carolina, display the car at the Performance Racing Industry Show in Indiana, and then road trip the ramp truck to pick up a new enclosed trailer before heading all the way home to Georgia. It was nuts but ended on a high note as we now have a lighter, safer, and more functional car hauler than ever before. Not only was I able to work directly with Aluminum Trailer Company to design and purchase my trailer but I was also able got a factory tour of how it was built, which I've shared here. If you'd like more info on these fantastic haulers then click this link to the model of trailer I purchased:

And if you'd like to support Finnegan's Garage then please check out the new shirts, hats, hoodies and stickers I've put on my website, www.fsmgarage.com
Thanks for watching!

Those nose of blasphemi peaking over the roof of the ramp truck looks sweet. Need to take a professional photo and turn it into a poster!
Coming over the horizon
Or...A T-shirt!😂
Need some green lights in it like Grave Digger…….
You missed the WOW at 13:55! 😂
Thanks for coming to our little town of nappanee!!! Hope you enjoy your trailer! Your purchase helps this small town more than you know!!!!
Heck yea go Hoosiers
There's alot of folks workin there!!
Awesome!!!
Gotta love small town America
@@j-er6yn no he bought that trailer
Every time Mike says Wow take a shot!!
It's 9am here and I don't drink but coffee and a brownie works for me.
WOW ! That was a great one, really cool to see the tour of ATC and learn more about that company. Congrats on your new trailer.
ATC trailers are incredible. They have great services as well, had ours back there for repairs a few times over the years.
I'm very happy with mine.
@@FinnegansGarage it shows 😊
@@FinnegansGarage question, could axle out of alignment, with each other, on a tandem trailer, be part of your fuel mileage issues? If the 2 axles on a trailer, had gotten knocked out of alignment, it would create drag, no? Brand new trailer, bet those axles aligned perfectly, less rolling resistance
@@jfk64kennedy95- sounds logical. Plus the new trailer is aluminum, way lighter.
Yes it will, not alot. You will notice trailer tire wear more than fuel milage. I get mine aligned about every three years. Its only been adjusted once in 12 years. That was more worn bushings than mis alignment.
Living the dream. Who has a better life than ol Cleet? Well deserved
I have a great appreciation for Mid-West factory workers. Git r done! That's a helluva job on all levels.
My favorite thing is laying in bed listening to the rain!
Supposed to get 3 inches in Boston tonight!
I'm gonna sleep like a baby!!!!!
Well without the waking up screaming every few hours.
Really enjoyed the tour, those trailers are very nice and well made. The people were really nice and good at their job.
VERY impressed with the build quality, damn. I like the overhang roof above the door and the stand offs
Dope new trailer! All the little cubbys, gadgets, and other little things make life easier. Those dudes working on the roofs were legit!
Mike, that is one really really nice trailer with so many options and ways to change the setup that makes it so functional for so many different things, WOW.
Working in and out of trailers for a long time you guys built a Awesome trailer. Congratulations!!!! It will last for many years!!!
13.56=missed wow 😆
Thanks for sharing & what an awesome new toy!
It's amazing to see all the newest gadgets, tools & technologies that are available. Compared to 3 or for decades ago ...
Always enjoy your work and videos. Always cool shiite !✌️
Thanks for watching!
WOW!
That's awesome!
The extensive factory tour covered all aspects of the trailer, all except price.
If Mike bought it... Wasn't cheap
@@daddysbrokegarage Mike is the epitome of "Good/Fast" when it comes to "Good, Fast, Cheap, Pick two"
Thanks for showing the manufacturing process. In the words of Finn himself, "WOW".
I loved welding aluminum with a spool gun. Tricky at first but once you figure it out man is it fast.
Spool guns are trash compared to MIG running pulse.😊
The "Wow" count was hilarious !😂..Congratulations on the new trailer..
My favorite part of the video is where Mike said "Wow"😯
Awesome trailer! You definitely will get the most out of this amazing trailer! Congratulations!!
Sweet trailer and tour of the factory.
Roof hammering guys are on it!!
I’m in the market for a new enclosed, and after watching this I know where I’m going. Thanks Fin
Great lighting, great gear, makes happy workers
It’s a welding shop look how clean the floor is
That is the nicest car trailer I have ever seen!!
Wow , that was quite a tour. Those trailers ( and yours) are very impressive. Congratulations on your new purchase. Next up ,
" Blasphemi " at the track. Many thanks for that.
Add a few WOWS for me! Impressive build quality.
Man, neat tour. Congrats on the new trailer!!
I used to have a full enclosed aluminum 27’ car trailer and loved how nice it pulled. Hated to see it go, but used it for for what I needed and moved on.
Also damn, watching those guys handle that roof. They are moving!
This is an amazing factory tour. I love seeing what goes into building large pieces of equipment/trucks/trailers etc. I'm trying not to be a negative Nancy here but I work in a facility that builds products very similar to these and I can't help but notice some things that could be improved safety wise. I was surprised to not see mandatory ear protection and safety shoes. We allow people to not wear safety shoes but they have to remain on a very clear designated path. Also the part where they are installing the roof. I can't help but see tons of spots where an arm laceration could occur. I wonder if there are leather sleeves or something similar to what welders wear to help prevent an injury there. Those guys know their job and are beast at it. I would hate for one of them to get an injury. I do really like the yellow sleeves they put on the ends of the kit carts to help keep people from walking into them. That is something I'm going to see if we can implement at our own facility. A really cool look into how these trailers are built I just worry about the safety for some of these associates.
Good safety suggestions.
Wow this trailer is really nice, they definitely have a different approach than the travel trailer guys, these seem built to last, not to be traded in every few years. The floor lights are a nice touch.
Man I always learn something from your videos
I enjoy watching hard workers doing what there good at doing.
SWEET hauler! I love all the details ATC have thought of to make their product stronger and water proof.
Excellent vid, Mike!!! I love the fact that you're happy to put a spotlight on the "behind the scenes folks" - gives your channel content that well-rounded gloss. This vid also flashed me right back to the year I spent working for Tenneco, here in Nebraska. The name might not be familiar, but I'll wager some of their products are - Monroe shocks and struts; Dynomax exhaust; and good old Thrush mufflers. A full list would blow out the bandwidth here - the Tenneco portfolio currently contains over 650 aftermarket brand names. During my tenure, I bounced between the Dynomax and Thrush lines, and we were churning out a couple thousand parts every week. I still get a kick out of the fact that in 2011-2012, some of my work could be found at virtually every car show from border to border, and coast-to-coast!!
ATC seems like a great outfit to work for - they're big enough to generate pretty good bank every week, but they're small enough to nurture a strong "family" atmosphere at their core, which is a mighty rare and special thing, these days. If I ever have need of a decent trailer, they'll be at the top of my go-to list, for sure.
Thanks again, KUTGW, and Happy Festivus!!!🥸
Thanks Mike For Giving Us the Meat and Potatoes behind Some Kick A&& Trailers
What a crazy cool trailer. Loved seeing the manufactoring process. They've thought of everything for that trailer
The ramp truck blasphemi combo is so sick
Congratulations on a very nice trailer!! Thank you for your videos as well! Good luck with your future endeavors!
Can’t believe y’all missed the opportunity to properly name this video. “WOW” 🤣🤣. Great video as always
Besides what my sister and her husband own (bloody everything) that is the coolest custom trailer I've ever seen. Cheers Finn.
Thanks for the Tour Mikie!! Hopefully enough people will want to upgrade to a newer trailer after watching this video. Kudos to ATC for letting us all go on the tour with you!!
'55 is my favorite tri-5 Chevrolet.
Looking forward to seeing more of her!! Thanks again for another great video 👍 be safe, God bless 🙏🏻
Thanks for watching!
I like how the basically let people stop to see you load Blasphemi. That's and amazing trailer.
Enjoy! It was cool to see how these are built. The RacerMatch (tm) explanation was pure genius. I figure mine will pay for itself in only 243 more years!
I’ve had my 24’ since 2017 - it’s been an incredible trailer, easily the best enclosed I’ve ever owned. I’ve probably put 30K miles on it since purchase. Mine was a custom order (no left side door, extra out lights and interior lights, amongst others), and was right in line with their explanation - three months from order to deliver.
That modular system is amazing, I wish it existed when I bought mine. Those things are so light and pull so well that I can tell the difference between when my 2090 lbs car is in it and when it is empty.
Do yourself a favor - one spare is never enough for the trailer, get a second. Ask me how I know.
Real nice trailers guys. i like that they are already equipped with the reflector tape. That tape isn't cheap.
All I can say is WOW, WOW, and WOW.
The wow counter made this video even tho you missed a couple 😂😂😂
@ 13:55 you missed a wow🤣
You need some sound deadening in that truck.
I've always been a fan. Tonight I brought home my Hellephant. OMG. It's going to be okay!
Congratulations Mike all that hard work is paying off that is a beautiful racing trailer.
I wasn't expecting such a serious production line
The ramp truck has been through so much since the original Roadkill episode. 😀. Go to see it’s still used.
transporter to trailer i been here and still love it thank you for all you put in to it
Congratulations on your purchase…!! Very nice trailer…!!!
Great stuff, Finnegan! Enjoy Paradise
Every time Mike says "wow", take a drink! Wowww...LMAO
Such a beautiful facility! 15:44
I’m not a diesel guy but the ramp truck sounds so good. Definitely better than the tow trucks that pick up my junk off the side of the road.
Your trailer is very shiny 😊 congrats to you.
Thank you for taking us along grate trailer answered a lot of questions have a great break in time Semper Fi USMC retired🏴☠
badass trailer, that side hatch is a fricken amazing idea
Lots of top quality manufacturers in Indiana. Didn't know about these folks an they are among the best for sure glad there here .
You no what? That trailer is AWESOME.
Absolutely beautiful trailer. Congratulations Mike!
Great trailer thanks for the tour
Thank you for the trailer shop tour,

Badass trailer. Hard to believe that side hatch over the wheel well won't leak. Awesome
Really well built!!!
Congratulations on your new hauler, u definitely deserve it
Wow #10,000...Nice trailer and cool tour. Thanks
Showing Street Racing Channel some love.... hell yeah.
Love seeing the Chevy Vega at 50.24. It being presented on wheel risers is genius. I remeber ours being up on repair ramps most of its later life.
Fond memories. Hey , with the return of the Maverick nameplate for Chevy......
Hopefully you get the car worked out so you can do some drag and drive events in 2024.
that's the plan. Thanks for watching!
I am 100% sure you break it again, and you should that's why we all watch you !
Last year we bought a 4023 fifth wheel. We love it.
I really enjoyed this video, seeing the build process and how ATC quality control process is nice. It may be different from a car build, but the usability and accessibility has the mind running wild with ideas.
Thanks for the tour great product and the escape hatch is priceless..ATM rules 😊😊😊
Hello Mike the new trailer looks incredible.
What a Awesome trailer. ATC have building trailers almost down to a science. Only thing I could see is having a dual onboard air stations in case you need to change a tire or add air and operate air tools during meets or playing with the toys.
Nothing beats an enclosed trailer.
Score baby!!!!
Absolutely beautiful trailer, congrats!!!
Very nice facility atc has I used to go there and work on the forklifts
Definitely put out some nice products
Excellent video, thanks for taking us along. I'm sold on ATC.
What a really nice system
This video is like it was filmed professionally I verry much enjoyed that thank you
The wow counter was wayyy funnier than it should’ve been 😂
"Wow!"
-Mike Finnegan, 2023

All the best mike congrats brother. Your totally awesome man. Many blessings brother to you the family and friends
Congratulations man that trailer is amazing and the tour was very informative a well built trailer for sure
You can see the quality of the trailers and the pride the people take in building them. It's refreshing to see that. Made in the USA with pride is hard to beat.
That is a Cadillac trailer for sure. All the bells and buttons you could think of. Nice Mike.
Wow..lol,awesome video of a badass trailer, the empty storage spot the winch is a good spot for a pit mat
That’s cool they have the welders hanging from the ceiling out of the way
Super cool trailer Mike guna make for a lot of fun ❤🇱🇷🤟 have a great Christmas guys
Really great looking trailer Mike.
take a drink every time Fin says WOW
I used to live right by that place in nappanee! I used to run sound for the big round barn theatre at the end of town
