Shame it basically tells you nothing about the game. :P It has multiplayer and you can craft and build. Nowhere near enough information to be compelling. Is it an RPG? They call it an MMO in the description but how many people are on a server? Private servers with friends? Is there any kind of combat? If so, what's combat like? What's the point of the game other than building? Is there even an end goal in the traditional sense or is it just forever open like Animal Crossing?
You like the art style? Then you must like fortnite.

You should check out LifeAfter. It's a Survival MMO....that encourages social community and activity. PvP is almost non-existent unless you go looking for it.

It's amazing how this got me and an impressive amount of people interested already. Monetization will decide everything at the end though, but it has a lot of potential.

Amazon is developing New World and this game is developed by Ex Epic, Sony & Blizzard Devs so its not just that the MMO genre is getting a few new games but its getting a few games made by guys who actually know what they are doing

there is fighting but it's pve only, no pvp. So it's genshin but actually mmo, a lot more stuff to do ( hopefully ).

It describes itself as an mmo so probably quite a few. Although mmos recently have been less social so you could probably play it almost entirely by yourself if that's your thing.
Maybe a subscription based mmo with dedicated servers like wow?

LETS GO!'' type of deal which would've been 1000% successful during lockdown. Might just work anyway though!

It is, because else how do you sustain your game? It not only costs about 5 times more to create an MMO than your typical AAA game, but it has a running cost too, which many times rival the cost of development.

@@TheCooderix servers are cheap compared to the "blizzard days" but enough customer support and other staff.. could get expensive (blizz kicked most of them). Well you could go automated with 7 days of response time / official reddit for bug reports.

they need to implent a pokémon feature. Something we could catching in the world of a sort creature. Or like a card game that we can find certain cards in the gigantic world. And then we can play that card game in a sort of tavern. That kind of stuff would be pretty epic , just exploring without any goal can become boring pretty fast
