Here are 2 essential oils that can be really great for dental health... And one that is really not great for dental health (if you've had any work done!).
Life saver! I was in excruciating pain after getting a temporary filling after a crown failure and the ibuprofen was taking too long to kick in. I watched this video and diluted a drop of oil of oregano in a pea sized amount of coconut oil and rubbed it on my gums and where the needle stuck me at to numb me during my visit at the dentist, and although I’m not 100% pain free, the pain decreased to bearable instantly. I’m no longer pacing the floor in unbearable pain. I’ll definitely be able to go to sleep soon now. Thank you. 🙏🏾
A holistic approach in dentistry would surely be appreciated by many patients I am sure. When a dentist just scoffs and repairs as much as he or she can but does not delve into the possibilities of approaching matters from different angles, then it is usually the patient's job to investigate. But such is the case with so many health problems anyways. Modern medicine repairs damage, but to treat a condition I think modern medicine just often falls short. I had that with ear infections and with hormone issues and on and on and on....... Guess researching will have to be the key for this issue too. I swear they should pay me a doctor's salary if I, the patient, is always left to figure out how to cure a specific health condition, rather then just once having a discussion with a doctor about causes and cures. I think the reason doctors do not speak about cures because modern medicine does not offer cures. It is repair procedures and preaching prevention of course. Well, the patient will mosey to the drawing board. Again Shuffle, shuffle, shuffle
Thank you so much for your wonderful recipe and for helping us take care of our health. Wishing everyone who is watching this video always healthy, peaceful, and happy❤
Thank you it is a great info. However, you said that peppermint essential oil in the mouth can cause a problem. I have used 1 or 2 drops diluted in a cup of water that I use to irrigate in the water pick at low. I have used when any problem in the mouth for 3 days to a week and sometimes for special care. Tea tree can also be used that way. Even though for and abscess is said in the book that put a drop of chamomile net. But Avoid use of undiluted essential oils. They are too strong. Easy: 3 drops per tablespoon of carrier oil. Undiluted oil may have caused the problem. Thanks again.
But don't kill pain, then forget, stay om it till all is cleared, if a tooth is dead, get it out, or you may be, many heart attacks related to dental issues, left unresolved, i make custom oil remedies, but always tell the person I help to stop the pain, go have the tooth filled or pulled to ensure the decay does not fester
Does Maxwell Dental have some references that backs up the claim that peppermint oil degrades dental filling bonds? Can't find anything that backs this up.
uh peppermint oil is great for clearing infections in mouth. I put a about 3 drops in a glass of hot water for mouthwash every now and then. Havent had any problems with my fillings yet. I'm sticking with peppermint....
I am using peppermint oil as we speak for a toothache works wonders pain stop almost instantly. I soaked a little cotton small enough to fit into the hole in my tooth and just like that pain gone. Thank me later ..
I just bought some doterra essential oils for oil pulling and homemade mouth rinse. I got clove, peppermint and thyme. I just recently read this online “ Side effects of using clove well in the mouth repeatedly may include damage to: Tooth pulp Skin inside the mouth Mucous membranes inside the mouth.” I just did oil pulling with coconut oil for the first time with some clove essential oil, only one drop of clove. How often is it OK to do oil pulling with clove oil? And my second question is for my homemade mouth rinse I was planning on using: Aloe vera juice as a base, A small amount of vodka and then also the three essential oils that I bought. Should I not use the clove essentyoil in a mouth rinse I’m going to be using every day?
Can you put oil of oregano oil and/or clove oil in a waterpik to blast the critters to the moon like Bezos? Can a dilute rinse if oregano oil or clove help prevent cavities?
Gif24 GT. Oil doesn’t mix with water. So it will probably just float on the top of the water pick tank. You’d have to find a way to overcome that hydrophobic tendency.
There are so many things that can do by yourself with the use of all of the instruments advised . The drs Are not allowed to tell you how to cure because then they would miss your visit. But you have a lot info . Example: put 2 drops of tea tree oil in a cup of water that you use in the water pick and irrigate teeth. Do that, after brushing the teeth with castor oil only and flossing . Try that for a week and then use coconut oil to brush and 2 drops of any oil rec for teeth or antiinflamatorio and infección mouth problem. You can also make an infusion with 4 leaves of the cooking sage or 3 of the sage tree in a cup of water. Drink that in the morning and hold the some of the infusion Por 2 minutes in your mouth. Discard it and repeat it 2 or 3 times in the morning an evening. You have to ve creativity and work until you get results. There are many plants that work well. Even Pau D’arco. Cocción ingested and moth wash. It works for parasites and Candida. Of course, I use many herbs. But I can’t advise and be responsible for others. You use it at your own risk. Plants are very safe after you read properties and side effects. Only be careful not to use any herbal remedy before going to dentist that would be using anestesia or dr. doing any invasive procedure. The plants may interfiere with the mentioned, especially with anestesia. Remember to do treatments for a week and then change to another type of plant or ingredients. Just avoid toothpaste with fluoride because it is bad for thyroid and damage teeth and general Heath. You think is a mistake? No that is a very bad ingredient recommended to us as good. But a very good to get patients. We use tooth everyday. So, care is needed always.
Look up Dr Ellie Phillips, she has a simple mouth care system that can help strengthen gums and teeth and make your saliva support healthy teeth and gums.
Hey. Also sometimes I share this, the Bible says that GOD loves us so much that he sent his son JESUS CHRIST to this earth and HE lived a perfect sinless life. And JESUS went to a cross and gave HIS life for us.And rose again in 3 days and who ever will receive JESUS AS THEIR SAVIOR AND ASK HIM TO COME INTO THEIR HEART AND FORGIVE THEIR SINS,HE WILL TAKE YOU TO HEAVEN.
Hi Gloria! I am a Wellness Advocate and I use essential oils for everything! You can dilute one drop of oregano oil in a teaspoon of sesame oil, fractionated coconut oil or any other kind of food grade oil. 😉 Let me knkw if you want any more info!
Nikki Lane: You may be mistaken here. What he said was that when essential oils are used without being diluted in a carrier oil properly, essential oils can really burn the soft tissues, and that insufficiently diluted peppermint oil can dissolve the cement that holds your crowns and feelings in your teeth. The only essential oil that I’m aware of that people use “neat” (without dilution) In the mouth is oil of cloves, but it is used very, very sparingly. I have personally used it in a pinch during the pandemic and at other times when I’ve been away from the city with no access to dental care. The technique is to take a toothpick and dip the very tip into the clove oil, and then to touch that minuscule amount of oil to the surface of the tooth that is in pain. It should not touch the soft tissues of your mouth at all. It may hurt just for a moment when the clove oil hits your sensitive, painful tooth. But then, the pain will subside completely and for a fairly long time so that you can eat clean your teeth properly. I’ve done this two, even three, times a day when I’ve been having extreme pain in a tooth, and it was extremely effective.
Hi Jessica, I always use doTerra because they're the ones approved for internal use. I love them so much that I actually became a wellness advocate working for them. Feel free to contact me back if you have any further questions!
Thanks. I'd be interested to hear what you say to biological dentists who say most essential oils are detrimental to the oral microbiome with long-term use. It kind of makes sense, given their anti-microbial properties and the fact that those properties are likely indiscriminate. I've heard that anise oil is really the only "safe" essential oil for sustained use in a natural toothpaste.
