Haha just as predicted the devs have activated their "We heard you're feedback" mode. Instead of releasing the already ready crystal pack right now, they will wait for another month to catch people who don't use socials and know about this information.

They can add buffs all they want to tlb and lock those behind "paying" it won't fix that game mode because they destroyed. People complaining about Franklin not being a mutant need to realize that it would be horrible for the game. He synergizes with the FF and there's nothing worse than not being able to use faction characters in content bc tags dont match (rest of the FF are human)

It's a couple of steps in the right direction. But as you said, alex, it could have been better/ fixed faster. I wanna see what they mean by " reasonable priced " I hope they understand not to put the crystal price to high. The whole fantastic 4 update uniforms need buffs so they also need address this. In 5 weeks ppl who bought the Franklin pack will be way ahead in stats. Unbalancing the player base. They Need a 100% way to get all emblems f2p at a lower rate like artifacts. Or what's the point if f2p and low/mid spenders just fall further and further behind.
Truthfully, despite all the bull, I was hoping for a new Doom uniform. Like a Regal, trimmed in gold and platinum, half Mystic, half Science. Plus one ability that rushes a bunch of Doom bots at his target.
When I read about this, I could just scream with joy. I almost give up, I almost gave in to the temptation on buying the pack, which 2K by the way in the Philippines, but now I can rest knowing that the pack will be available for crystals, perfect for Black Friday Crystal Spending Event.

bro i tried both the maker and the fall uni for mr fantastic on world boss legend and the the maker was 10 sec slower than the new uni for him it is so frustrating how they messed up an epic quest character rework they could have made him like jean not as broken as her but still close to her level of rework

That's it. In the last few years MFF got pretty good at pandering to the whales and selling overpriced stuff like it is content. I remember vividly the time when the seasonal Gwenpoole uni was introduced... people were complaining and Alex was shouting at the camera about how it was something new and we should let Netmarble cook (like we had a choice in that matter). Well... a lot of "new" stuff came and went, whales bought it at launch and a week later were complaining about the game growing stale and feeling like a chore. I don't care about the $40 char, actually... someday I'll unlock it and it'll grow dust and spiderwebs in my roster like the Ultimates. My problem is the constant introduction of new collectibles with which the whales will be done in a week while we will be chasing it for the next years, like swords, those team tokens and now the emblems.

16:02 Maybe because MOST Players didn't purchase the pack? It's hard to talk about something you don't have. The only thing they can talk about is how bad of an idea the pack was and/or the execution of it.
The dev note sounds promising, but I'm also disappointed that we have to wait until next month to see it. The devs should issue a temporary fix which could be done with a patch, but I guess they have to argue over what the final crystal cost will be. Whatever they come up with, it needs to be comparable to the asking price, keeping it accessible to everyone. I hope this though, crystal to dollar price, is something that translate to other areas of the game--seasonal uniforms (both of them) should follow suit too.

I think it’s a pretty good possibility that they are going to wait 5 weeks so they can try and squeeze as many $40 purchases as possible. As far as the characters being weak and not enough people focusing on that, I think the players have gotten used to updates with garbage character upgrades or just sidegrades. There has been SOOO many for a good while now. We’ve been inundated with native T2 & native T3 T4 upgrades and those or pretty much the only ones that are any good in this long string of crappy updates or mediocre updates and that just isn’t gonna cut it. Just the other night I was thinking about how they should be making T3 characters that are actually good for PVP but not as good as the T4 characters. This way when they nerf the meta ones we have something that is actually useful. That way we have a reason to build up these other characters that don’t get a T4 but they do get a new uni.
Next months new game mode will be sent in the form of text to Alex’s CZcams chat. Pay sixty bucks and get another item to help boost you characters levels

Inhumans will never be as famous as other factions i guess, but I really like their story. It's sad that the most famous inhuman Ms Marvel become a mutant, and inhuman as the same time. We need a new epic quest for inhumans asap.

You must buy the deluxe pack in multiverse saga to play the whole game mode, because you must play the missions with Franklin Richards to unlock the Dr Doom missions. Which means you can't do anything without buying that pack.
The Doom Missions are now unlocked for everyone, you just had to go through the Chapters. The last mission is Victorius, but the complication is that one of two bosses AND Franklin are both locked behind a physical purchase.

They have to fix the game before its 10th anniversary. Specially this new content multiverse saga, epic quest, dimension mission and legendary battle.
Epic Quest- for teams they need to remove the MCU related content and transfer it to legendary battle so that all MCU content is there.
Multiverse saga - Needs improvement Its nice but it can be improved specially the monetization.
Dimension mission- should have a monthly or seasonal new content to play that should keep you log in the game a SPECIAL OPS kinda game play and it disappears after a month or so. or per update coming from "Dimension" its like a one time portal to open kinda thing and you can close it by finishing the content or the mission and you can get exclusive one time items or characters you can collect taht can improve your standing in the game.
Story - keep it that way original story of mff but i hope they keep it updated or up to date at least 2x a year and improve the loots. like they can put emblem fragments
They need to release heroes that can be attainable through these mission for free just by playing the game and also opportunity for them for monetization and have the uniform released at the same time.

I'm happy to hear about longevity for this game. Now Alex I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but nobody cares about Inhumans. To have a multiverse saga that's something new, thats' something they need to sit down and evaluate at least IMO.

Love how people that are not software developers complain about the time when they have no idea what it takes to get it updates out. Keep in mind they don’t have extra people working on this so it is the same people working on the Up coming updates. So now your asking them to take on extra work that was not planned on which me
And they will be doing overtime to get this done for you. So let’s talk about things that need to be done that you want in one day on top of all the changes.
1) spec of the changes required need to figured out and approved. That includes what needs to be in the pack, new UI changes, purchases works ect.
2) Any new art that needs to be created. That can take up to date depending how much.
3) translation of the text into all the supported languages. I have dealt with translation team and took away week to even translate.
4) Coding needs to be done which code take a few days.
5) testing all changes and regression test. This could take some time.
6) any rework of code to fix bugs in testing.
7) They will need to get approvals from Apple before even getting the update to the App Store. This can take time. Since the patch is already in the this process. They can’t add there. They are probably already started the process for the July release and would make it less stressful and easier on them.
Cunicalex, you should do a video on group they should do for Multiverse Saga like: The Thunderbolts, Atlas, The Defenders, New Avengers, and the Runaways.

No there is no cap to publish apps, only appstore does revision on code and functionalities to ensure a proper due diligence. Play store allows you to do whatever you want... so it's not that.

I don't see them doing eternals. I think the sequel was scrapped through the mcu. Like Ms Marvel being changed to a mutant. Doesn't matter to me. 73.8% on my Mr Fantastic. Hopefully he gets buffed by then.

Five weeks is just way too long a time, but I'm sure they're upset their little plan didn't pan out and just like the Ultimates they'll probably be salty over the community's reaction to their latest attempt at trying to shake the change out of our pockets. Curious to now see what they think the crystal cost 'should' be, as currently the only thing really of value is the CTP selector and the second Doom boss and it's first clear bonuses.
As for Fantastic Four #26 (2018), that's another one of those garbage entries in the marvel universe like Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver no longer being mutants or 'One More Day'. Assuming you can trust anything that Charles Xavier tells you.

Alex is really tone deaf when it comes to the pack price. It's not about being able to afford $40. It is about the players making a cost-benefit analysis. As a content creator, of course Alex is going to buy the pack. Buying the pack leads to content, and for Alex, content is income. But for players, buying the pack gets you a place holder for a nonfungable token that may or may not be relevant in a game mode or two for a few months. The cost, even at just the price of a couple rounds of mini-golf, is too high for a digital icon with limited efficacy.
@Cynicalex 13:57 This is one of many issues I have with the game lately. They don’t make uniforms or characters good anymore because they want to sell an artifact.
And don’t even get me started on how they barely mentioned the emblem system. That is extremely concerning to me. For one it makes it an even more uneven playing field for those who are willing to spend hundreds dumping crystals into gambling for few op emblems out of the potentially hundreds they will add over time.
And I think PvP currently already has enough issues to add even more things free to play or moderate to low spenders to have to worry about to even have a sliver of a shot in PvP is just not cool.
I don’t know if you’ve attempted PvP as a free to play in the current game but it pretty much impossible. I have in theory a pretty great team with T4 Sentry, but stacked Jean and Thanos on my free to play account and I win maybe one timeline match in about 2 weeks. Because they keep pairing me up with full T4 teams with brilliant CTP’s and fully blue cards in silver league.
And even on my regular account I struggle with PVP and I have been playing for 7.5-8 years now and have spent a good amount on the game.

The devs would save themselves some grief, and build some good will by actually explaining things in detail when they want to make big changes/introduce game changing systems. They always wait until after things blow up to start talking.
As you said, I dont want this to kill whatever creativity momentum and ideas that they have. It's good that they are trying things and have plans for future content. But communication is key.
I don't get why it takes 5 weeks to make changes when we're just talking about prices and crystals--not content.
The bigger is the characters...I didn't even pick up Reed because I heard nothing good about him and didn't sound like he would be useful for anything. Native T2 characters and epic quest characters should be powerful. $40 Franklin should DEFINITELY be powerful.
