Wonderful performance of an extraordinary work! I like the work being put into proper German pronunciation of the Latin, thank you for not going the "easy" Italianate way :-)
excellent conducting and singing. wonderful choir.
What a wonderful choir and conducting. Thanks for sharing
Wonderful work, splendidly interpreted.
UNT A Cappella choir is one of the best university choirs in the States.
Danke für die wunderbare Aufnahme!
Thankyou for sharing the good choir
Dr. Sparks conducted at PLU in Washington along where Dr. Maurice Skones also on the faculty . I was a student of Dr. Skones at Adams State University at Alamosa , Colorado . Wonderful production here and thank you .
Why did Maurice Skones leave PLU? I met him at Paul Christiansen choral camps in MN.
Beautiful :)
I miss my choir!! So many great memories sing with this group.

Why missing it ? Did they stop performing. I hope not !
Delight for the ears...
Great performance of world class.
Awesome!

Beautiful rendering. The penultimate chord sounds half-diminished, and the urtext score has Ab-minor. I like the half diminished more!
Interesting. My score also has the half-diminished chord. It looks like the only difference is in the alto part in choir 2, resolving from F to E-flat, rather than from A-flat to G. I rather like it.

Ur a fucking magician
14:57 is the right one
14:57 a meme was born
this seems slightly flatter than Eb, maybe a D rendition?? but regardless, impressive, since they didn't even appear to have a pitch pipe!
They are just very slightly below E flat. It's not a D rendition. They are just flat by like 10-15 herz. You notice when they retune at Sanctus they get closer to the correct pitch. They never come close to D.
@@musicaveranyc1874 looking back at this i don’t know how i thought that was a whole half tone lower HAHA but yes probably i agree!!
