Hi War Thunder I was wondering if instead of adding a bunch of modern stuff you add one or two new modern things and add like cold war or World War II stuff.? Also please add the L3 with the flamethrower

The Magic 2 could excel if Gaijin didn't nerfed its maximum overload
Wait till you learn about the differences in fin sizes. Python 3 and the recent Piranha have 40g and 45g overloads respectively. Neither are close to Magic 2s maneuverability.
Magic can go to 50g and is really manoeuverable once it get to speed, i'd say it's near R-73 level when turning at speed

@@sanmiguel4774Nowhere near 60g because it's quite slow. Slow things can turn better because they are experiencing less Gs. Magic 2 is much faster than r73 so turning tight puts it under serious stress or Gs. Currently Magic 2 can probably pull the most Gs but r73 can turn the best.

All Fox-2's are IR dumbass, active radar homing missiles are Fox-3's.
Speaking of 9Ms, why is the GR.7 still at 11.7 for RB and SB? Makes no sense why magic 2s or 9Ms are found on platforms
Where they can meet flareless jets and a lot of jets with a very limited avionics set to actually have knowledge of these aircraft near them to counter an IRCCM missile until youre in the confirm kill bubble (in regards to SB) and even in RB allowing this in a 16v16 against aircraft as low as 10.3
It doesn't need to go any higher. Sure, It has 9Ms, but it will mostly face 11.3+, in which most if not ALL jets have flares, and even if it does get those once in a while downtiers, jets at the said BR still have flares. Yes, it's a hard missile to just simply flare, but again it's a subsonic without a radar/SARH missiles that has to fight jets with radars and radar missiles, so it's honestly completely fine at 11.7, as moving it higher would just make it face 13.0 FOX-3s 24/7. If this thing gets the ASRAAM though, then yeah it definitely needs to go up.
@@feethelad5416 so then how are harriers able to manage at 13.0 without arh if theyre stock grinding, ive been able to close with, merge, and kill 15s and migs with 120s or 77s all while bone stock using guns, so why does the gr.7 get a free bone

Untold bonus for the Magic's is their acceleration. I'm not sure how the stats are exactly. If it's in range ,it will reach you VERY fast. Not to mention that the closer it is the harder it will be to flare, hence why unless you are pre-flaring, it will hit more likely than not.

It can hit a little further then just 5km 1:56 also I love how war thunder doesn’t even tell us the info people would want, like: realistic ranges, types of IRCCM used, like we don’t care about the speed
I think that 5km range is based on a supersonic chase
Please make a realistic air enduring confrontation an option for top tier. Even if it's only a weekend event.

can you please buff the r77, the thing doesn't even get 10km in most situations, and if it does, the chance of a kill is very low. especially since the rocket has a range of around 80-100km in real life. I mean, how hard did you nerf the thing so that it doesn't even get 20km? whereas the aim120A has less range in real life (around 80km max.) but flies over half the map in the game. I mean, that's not fair... I'm not a Russian main player, but I still think it's pretty stupid to make the thing so incredibly weak

why dose the mirage f1 get the magic 2 but the f-4j/s get only aim-9h/g and the mig-23ml/mla/mld/m only get r-90ms?
Unlike the R-24R and AIM-7F, the Mirage F1 can only carry the Super 530F, which can avoid chaff by scattering it once! Therefore, it is overwhelmingly inferior to the Mig-23 and F-4J in medium-range combat! Therefore, gaijin maintains the balance by improving its ability in close combat!

At least in Air AB, where it should be y'know, arcadey, you seriously need to either undo the countermeasure nerfs from a couple months back I think it was, or you really need to make a more massive gap between FOX-3 planes and planes without. The spawn campers have always been bad enough as is, but between IRCCM missiles and active radar homing ones (other than Phoenix) that don't even register on the RWR it's become 100x worse on that front, let alone just the BS of AIM-120's and the rest even just in general in the match. It's just boring missile spam and if you don't have FOX-3's, you don't really get to do jack. Only fun I've had in my 11.7-12.0 US line up is either top tier or matches with players that haven't unlocked ARH missiles so it's actually people getting in and having dogfights instead of trying to missile snipe all day.
Much as I've wanted a solution to the spawn campers, other than just shooting them down if they don't get the perfect jump on me - this new missile hell nonsense needs to be fixed yesterday. Cause I can tell you right now even at 50% off much as I intended to buy one of those packs - I scrapped it after playing in high tier a few days and just getting angry and not having fun in all the US planes I unlocked. Turning to put the missile at 3 or 9 when the RWR actually works while going in to a dive dumping all the chaff I can and still getting hit by these things? F--- that.

The amraam is busted launch from 50-60km go back to base, r77 has no burn time it's basically an r73 with a different seeker, the r27er is better.

Is that a think you actually want? Have you seen its capabilities?? If you think the R73 is broken the Python 4 is so much worse. If the Python 4 gets added they will probably also add the 9X IRIS-T and R73M etc.

Do something with top tier Air RB please! It is insane and toxic that none of the match is longer than 5 minutes and the balance is....there is no balance. What the Harrier is doing at 12.3 with AIM-120 seriously? The R-77 is even worse than the 27ER and it is not in the same league with the AIM-120. 12.0-13.0 is unplayable and no fun at all.

My favourite? prolly the one that shouldn't have been first canceled cuz of a crying group, then nerfed cuz of the same crying group, then continuously nerfed throughout its lifetime to the point you can call it R60M++
My least favourite? Aim9M. 0 logic, full implementation, no nerfs. Please remove the capability of the seeker magically reaquiring the original target when its outside of its FOV, even when its 1) outside of the original course. 2) outside of the flare radius. 3)everywhere. The whole 'blinking' system is flawed right now and the only thing that happens is the missile stops maneuvering. I've said this before, that missile does NOT have AI that lets it find its original target after it re-opens the seeker, wherever that target might be. ty

FR Gaijin, there is a huge difference between LOW smoke and NO smoke.
Stop making this stupid thing invisible in Ground RB, its so cracked there. If you have your radar off and stick low to the deck you are pretty much invisible to the enemy besides a headon in which their radar might notice you.
Aim9x has a no-smoke motor. Theres plenty of aim9m test videos with a very obvious smoke trail (albeit still less noticeable than the 9l by a large margin).

R-73 in battle almost turn 180 degree is most BS I have seen.
Magics were the best heat seeking missiles in this game they are the worst, the R27 was the worst in this game they are the best 🙃
Lower zero BR it's not our fault that payers with boom and zoom planes try to dogfight with us.
Only have the aim9m and l, but the 9m is just great for headons, whereas the 9l is good for rear aspect launches as it is surprising flare resistant, earliest carrier of the 9l is the a10 but before people jump on it for that remember that the a 10 itself is slow asf which in itself affects the missile, all you gonna do is not go near the a10 and if your in launch range with no flares you most likely can literally just after burn it away
