Commanded by General Grievous, flagship of the Separatist Navy, The Invisible Hand is a warship in a class of its own. Well no technically, It's a Providence-class Dreadnought to be exact, with overwhelming firepower compared to one of the Republic's Venators, despite its smaller size.

@@BrickVault they weren’t using any engines or anything, just steering it and opening flaps to slow it down. I guess all that stuff is in the front of the ship.

It would be really cool if you had a nano scale Venator Star Destroyer, that would go really well with this set, and would be a really cool addition to the nano scale fleet.

Somebody finally DID IT!! I’ve been trying to build a dreadnaught for 5-6 years now and nobody, ever, has done a good one. FlickR, rebrickable, CZcams, can’t find one anywhere. Thank you for doing this! I’ll definitely be buying the instructions for this!
All we need now is an Acclamator and the dream will be complete. I’ve always wanted an OG Battlefront 2 display with a Venator and an Acclamator, against a dreadnaught and a banking clan frigate. Please, make it happen!
Wanna make sure though. Grievous ship was not a dreadnought. Want to make that very clear.
Admiral Trench was using a dreadnought version of this ship though.
The Invisible Hand was a Carrier/Destroyer and as such, was a little over a km. long.
The Invincible on the other hand was a Dreadnought model, being over 2 km.
I will also say that a Providence-class Carrier/Destroyer may have had SLIGHTLY more firepower than that of a Venator, it wasn't significantly more as with the Dreadnought variant of the same ship class.
Anyways, I am also still wanting to see a minifig scale HAVw A6 Juggernaut from you guys... Hopefully that'll occur sometime in the future.
And a Venator-class star destroyer would be absolutely beautiful for this. Have the Guarlara would be perfect to recreate the broadside engagement between itself and the Invisible Hand as seen on Coruscant in Episode 3.
Haha I came straight down to the comments to say this. The Invisible Hand is a regular Providence-class, not the dreadnought version.
An A6 would be huge in mifi scale.

New cannon makes all Providence class dreadnoughts, which IMO is far better than having two different models that doesn’t make sense
@@arachnomech88 Well, in that case they may all be CALLED Providence-class dreadnoughts, but some are 1088 m. others are 2177.35 m. Meaning that there would still be two separate versions of the ship class in question. I just like to differentiate the two by calling the larger one a dreadnought and the smaller one a Carrier/destroyer like it was called originally.

It’d be like a World Trade Center version of jenga. Probably would have gotten crap for being in poor taste. Even though I had a titanic toy as a kid that did exactly that.
Ryan Mcnought, the judge from LEGO Masters Australia, and LEGO Certified Professional, made one and got a lot of flak for it because it was “offensive.” I saw it in person and it was awesome though.

I love it and the function! I do wish that it had the panels used to slow the ship down, and I think there should be a small little but sticking out just below the top of the wizard’s tower, but otherwise a great model!

This is an amazing, absolutely beautiful design for my favorite capital ship in all of Star Wars. I think a good piece to tie together your Separatist fleet would be The Malevolence, but amazing job Brickvault!

just to clear things up, the invisible hand was a providence class destroyer, the providence class DREADNAUGHT was a variant built in small numbers that was much larger

This is pretty neat, love how it can split in 2 like in the movie Revenge of the Sith! It would be cool to see a MOC of the Malevolence one of these days, I know Lego made an official set a few years back which looked pretty nice, wonder how a MOC would top that one.
I think that a detailed midi-scaled star destroyer would be very cool!

We absolutely need a Malevolence to go with this. By far my favorite ship in Star Wars and arguably the most powerful.

It's so GOOD, I finished building it two days ago and stil can't take my eyes off of it. Honestly it's one of your best looking models to date! Some sub-builds were a bit tricky to attach, but other than that it all went together smoothly. Hoping for a Recusant Class next!
@Arkos Feels pretty solid with both halves connected, definitely more than sturdy enough for display and carrying around.

I've always wondered why this ship was named 'The Invisible Hand'
It's only my guess, but here it is: I learnt in economics lesson that the „Invisible hand” is an expression for what moves the self-balancing of the market. So this ship of the separatists, with Nemoidian officers from the >trade federation< named it like this, as it should bring that balance they wanted. After that lesson I also told the teacher what I found out.
