If you guys love GT7, I really recommend a steering wheel, I can’t believe i’m addicted to a racing sim either, same as you guys! I got the Logitech G29 wheel with the pedals and it adds so much to the immersion. Game wise, I also recommend you giving Rez Infinite a try again man, if you loved Rez on the Dreamcast, set the controlling option to Eye Tracking…it’s actually mind blowing, it almost feels like an aim bot, you’ll see what I mean! 😅
Currently playing Fire Emblem Engage. 52 hours so far, on chapter 18. Yeah, I know it shouldn't take this long, but I have so much fun grinding and maxing the affinity. The game is amazing. I also just bought Bayonetta Origins and Metroid Prime which I'll eventually play.
I got over 50 hours in FE Engage and it feels like I just scratched the surface.. I think I’m around where you are chapter 15 or so.. I play it every Friday afternoon
I remember buying the first VR with a copy if RE7 and I can honestly say that it was one of my top favorite gaming experiences I ever played lots of fun. Playing 3D graphics for the first time on Playstation was my first amazing gaming experience.
Last night I played through Star Parodier for the first time after being reminded by watching the HCG review from several years back (the CZcams algorithm recommended the video to me recently). I bought the game about five years ago just before the Wii Virtual Console shut down, but only finally got round to playing it. It was a blast to play and I loved the overall "wackiness" of it.
I played through Dragon Quest Swords on Wii, and tried out Madworld on Wii. I finished trying out all 62 PCFX games. I love fully exploring a smaller library of games and getting a feel for the experience. Right now I got my copy of The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure that I pre-ordered and having a blast with it. My 8th title in the series and I aim to play and beat them all.
I've been playing in VR around 90% of the time since 2016. I own "too many" VR headets, including the PSVR2 and I really love it, despite some issues which will hopefully fixed by updates! 🙂 And regarding motion sickness in VR: You will get used to it, eventually. It can take some time, but it will happen in the end!
Since you own so many headsets, maybe you can answer this for me. Do any of them allow you to adjust the screen so you can use them without glasses? I tried the original PS VR but it required me to wear glasses which is really uncomfortable.
@@mbern4530 No, none of the consumer headsets available right now is allowing this, unfortunately. BUT there are at least two companies that produce special prescription lenses for different headsets, including PSVR2, which are really great. They are simply "plugged" on top of the stock lenses. I have those for all of my headsets, as I would need to wear glasses otherwise, too. One of them is called VR Optician. I can absolutely recommend these lenses. The other one I cannot remember right now...
@@MichaelButlerC No, only "genuine" VR games. There are more VR games than you probably would guess - literally hundreds of them. Not all are good, of course. Non-Vr or "flat" or "pancake" games, as they are called in the VR community, I play on a normal TV. ;-)
I finished Chrono Trigger and Cross back to back for the first time this week. Incredible games Trigger really lived up to the hype and I loved Cross as well. Right now I'm currently playing Secret of Mana
I've been playing 3DS and Wii U since picking up games before the eShop closes on March 27th. Tons of Gems there for those systems and their respective Virtual Consoles.
I don’t care for the gameplay but the STORY I’m that game is amazing. I was hard out on Star Wars when that game first came out and the story got me back in 100%

Fantastic game-one of the best in the series. Johnny's enthusiasm helped push me through just about every Ys game there is (except V, which is still on my list).
The PS VR2 is crazy amazing! Had it on pre-order and got it day one. It's my very first VR headset and I am literally blown away! I have played Horizon, Moss, Rez, RE Village and Star Wars. I must say I stopped playing regular games on the flat screen. I feel like if supported enough, VR is the future of gaming. It's hard to explain the feeling of being there, in the game. You must try it for yourself. It's like another dimension entirely, no kidding. The games are extremely creative, fun and last a lot, as you will only be playing 2-3 hours at a time. I don't have any motion sickness, headaches, dizziness or anything else. It felt right from the first time. And it's so easy to get started, you just put the headset on, tighten it at the back, put on some headphones (I recommend the pulse 3D), grab your controllers, turn on the console and bam, you're in! You don't even need a tv/monitor. Just keep the VR connected to your console and use the controllers to start it. Watching movies and CZcams on it with a huge, cinema like screen is also unbelievable. An outstanding device. If you are on the fence about this one, just go for it.
If you're gettitn motion sickness u should try using click turning. It's way comfier and feels more natural. Guys, if you're getting a red mark and need it very tight you're probably wearing it wrong. The footage of Jonny wearing it, looks like you've got it on at a slightly wrong angle, the back halo part is supposed to angle down towards the back of your head a bit more, with the headset sort of hanging off that lip on the top of the front cushion. If u get it right it's comfy and u don't get too squeezed.

I'm so behind in my games. I'm currently playing Metroid Prime, Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes and I'm playing Splatoon 3 in my spare moments. I want to finish so I can get going on Fire Emblem Engage, Octopath Traveler 2, Live A Live, and Triangle Strategy.
Gran Turismo 7 was my game of the year last year; doing all the circuit experiences, license tests, races and taking photos of the cars you collect is so good!
I’m playing Tchia - mainly because I read The Hands of the Emperor by Victoria Goddard and now I’m a sucker for anything Pacific Island themed. But the game has pearl diving! You can pet all the animals! And the setting is just divine.
Just got a PS5 yesterday and been playing Spiderman Miles Morales, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 and it's amazing on PS5. The DualSense feels amazing compared to the Dualshock 4 controller and heavy. Got an extra controller and a charging station arriving tomorrow.
I'm currently 25 hours into Trails in the Sky and I'm planning to play through all of the Trails games in order. Going to take my time and break it up with other games in between so it could take a while.
Speaking of old school, as old school gamer myself i´ve just finished Crazy Taxi a few days ago (again). I´ve played Bayonetta Origins, a surprise hit in my book, i didn´t expect this game to be this good. Other than those two, i´ve finished Hi - Fi Rush for the 4th time, than i´ve finished Mega Man X last week, for probably the 150th time. And last but not least, i´m playing Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
Bought it day one and no regrets. What helps against motion sickness is standing and when turning do not use the stick but move yourself. You should try moss. It's soo cute and it's great involving in the game and looking into tunnels and so. I love it. Currently my 3 favorites are gt7, horizon and moss.
No. But it IS very VERY strange. When you “remember” a game, you remember it differently than you do a flat game. It’s actually scientifically studied that is resembles a real meme lord more than a scene from a “thing”. You remember things like they happened to you and places from games feel more like places from a vacation.
I thought about it for awhile and i have to say, Octopath Traveler 2 is my favorite turn based rpg i have ever played. The first one was up there with if not the best, top 5. The Gameplay, Graphics, Music and Sound, and even the Stories are all pretty good, especially on Octopath 2. I cant recommend those games more if you are a fan of turn based rpgs..
I remember first getting used to vr and getting extreme motion sickness when walking in the game. After a while your brain gets used to it and it becomes much easier. Just have to get over the 'breaking in your vr legs' hurdle.
I am currently playing Fire emblem Thracia 776. Engage got me on the Fire Emblem train again, so now I am playing/finishing up the entries I have not yet played. I actually already beat the game a few days ago but immediately started up another play through, since the game is just that good. Thanks for the video, a pleasure to watch as always!

I just got my PSVR2 yesterday. Had to travel via ferry to another island then drive 5hrs. one way to purchase from someone who pre-ordered but kept getting sick using it. I've been sim racing in vr with the Oculus Quest 2, but this play so much better with GT7. Very happy😊
@@Devilisdue1 Oh, that was the previous owner. VR usually doesn't bother me. I have quest 2 as well. You really have to dial them in as much as possible to avoid motion sickness.

Put your cinema screen to full size and watch a bluray in there. Totally awesome. In VR, press the PS button twice and you get the VR menu, the screen size control is right there.
I just got my PSVR2 a couple weeks ago and am having a blast. I've never had a VR headset before. I'm surprised you guys found it in Walmart. In the U.S. I believe they're only selling direct from the PlayStation website. Star Wars was super fun. My latest jam has been Walking Dead Saints and Sinners. I've been on the fence on Gran Turismo but I think you guys just sold me on it! There's way too many good games coming out this season, like Jedi Survivor!!

Also recommend checking out Switchback by Supermassive. It's an on the rails horror shooter, and really hits that House of the Dead like vibe. Sooooo fun.

Yes I also forked over the $900 CDN for the PSVR2 bundle and I’ve enjoyed every minute playing Horizon and RE Village, and I can’t wait to play Resident Evil 4 remake in VR when we get the patch for that. In terms of the cost of the unit, yes it’s expensive but it’s a long term investment that we as gamers make for many years of enjoyment for the dozens of games that we will play.
The VR DLC for RE4 Remake will be free too. Not sure if it will be for the whole game though. I played the original version in VR on the Quest 2, that was fun.
@@bgill7475 I’m pretty sure Capcom has stated they are making the full campaign in VR. I’d like to see Capcom go back and make the other Resident Evil games PSVR2 compatible too like 2,3, and 7.

I got the vr2 ordered from Sony. Call of the mountain looked great but I have enjoyed Resi 8, and grand tursimo 7 even more. I love vr games I still have the original virtual boy in my retro collection that started my love of it back then even though that wasn’t great. It’s definitely a step up from oculus as well and I play that often. Have fun with your new toy.
Playing slain, mafia definitive addition, guns gore and cannoli 2 because 1 was awesome! Brought the first vr for 90 bucks with 6 games and never hooked up seeing all the wires. Sitting for 2 months in a bag.
Im playing res4 remake and Bayonetta origins. Res4 remake plays amazingly but the bigest surprise is from Bayonetta origins. Its art style is georgeous. The music , the vibe ❤️
I saw a hidden gem video recently about a game called Trek to Yomi. I think it might be something you would find Interesting because of the art style and uniqueness of the game.
Octopath traveler 2, 65 hours in amazing game, the first one I didn't really get on with, need to go back and try it again but this is amazing, but the soundtrack is phenomenal, simply amazing
Jonny you & Kim have got to get the g29 steering wheel for gt7. I recently picked up one with the pedals and my God what an experience. Also a decent stand to mount it on, you'll need it with the force feedback from the wheel motors. Cheers

Climbing in Horizon Call of the Mountain becomes much more fun when you realize you can quickly swing yourself up or sideways to climb much faster.

motion sickness is the ultimate weakness of vr.
Hopefully a cheap vr treadmill would change that narrative in a near future

My first VR experience was Resident Evil 4 on Oculus Quest 2 last year 10/10.

Put your cinema screen to full size and watch a bluray in there. Totally awesome. In VR, press the PS button twice and you get the VR menu, the screen size control is right there.
I just got my PSVR2 a couple weeks ago and am having a blast. I've never had a VR headset before. I'm surprised you guys found it in Walmart. In the U.S. I believe they're only selling direct from the PlayStation website. Star Wars was super fun. My latest jam has been Walking Dead Saints and Sinners. I've been on the fence on Gran Turismo but I think you guys just sold me on it! There's way too many good games coming out this season, like Jedi Survivor!!
Glad to see you guys enjoying PSVR2. That's what I'm playing, too. Absolutely love Village in VR, which makes me excited for RE4R in VR when it comes. Also recommend checking out Switchback by Supermassive. It's an on the rails horror shooter, and really hits that House of the Dead like vibe. Sooooo fun.

I’m currently playing (and LOVING) both Forspoken and Control. Both have nice combat and movement systems with sick main protags.
Yes I also forked over the $900 CDN for the PSVR2 bundle and I’ve enjoyed every minute playing Horizon and RE Village, and I can’t wait to play Resident Evil 4 remake in VR when we get the patch for that. In terms of the cost of the unit, yes it’s expensive but it’s a long term investment that we as gamers make for many years of enjoyment for the dozens of games that we will play.
The VR DLC for RE4 Remake will be free too. Not sure if it will be for the whole game though.
I played the original version in VR on the Quest 2, that was fun.
@@bgill7475 I’m pretty sure Capcom has stated they are making the full campaign in VR. I’d like to see Capcom go back and make the other Resident Evil games PSVR2 compatible too like 2,3, and 7.
@@crobinson2624 Ah okay, I thought they just said "VR content" and weren't clear about what it was in their tweets. Someone's modded the demo on PC though to work with VR for now.

I got the vr2 ordered from Sony. Call of the mountain looked great but I have enjoyed Resi 8, and grand tursimo 7 even more. I love vr games I still have the original virtual boy in my retro collection that started my love of it back then even though that wasn’t great. It’s definitely a step up from oculus as well and I play that often. Have fun with your new toy.
I have been playing Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright on 3DS recently. Not usually into visual novel type games but the series is an exception.
Playing slain, mafia definitive addition, guns gore and cannoli 2 because 1 was awesome! Brought the first vr for 90 bucks with 6 games and never hooked up seeing all the wires. Sitting for 2 months in a bag.

Im playing res4 remake and Bayonetta origins. Res4 remake plays amazingly but the bigest surprise is from Bayonetta origins. Its art style is georgeous. The music , the vibe ❤️

I saw a hidden gem video recently about a game called Trek to Yomi. I think it might be something you would find Interesting because of the art style and uniqueness of the game.

Octopath traveler 2, 65 hours in amazing game, the first one I didn't really get on with, need to go back and try it again but this is amazing, but the soundtrack is phenomenal, simply amazing

Jonny you & Kim have got to get the g29 steering wheel for gt7.
I recently picked up one with the pedals and my God what an experience.
Also a decent stand to mount it on, you'll need it with the force feedback from the wheel motors. Cheers
