Definitely agreed, fees has increased substantially but an institute like BITS needs that much money as well to maintain is infrastructure and it's research facilities as well. Also many professors of BITS are experienced and good so their salaries also have to match. Since BITS has no reservation so government gives no funding as well. These all factors shoot up the fees of BITS. I am studying chemical engineering at BITS Pilani Goa campus so I did dug deep about the fee hike
Also private universities such as manipal and VIT also charge huge amount of money but you know the difference between these universities and BITS Pilani and I mean any campus you compare them with.

@@ketanschannel5216 someone who has both nsut(brother) and bits(me) graduate in family i can say bits is far better than nsut. only benfit nsut has placements and that too are less than bits. and here i'm comparing bits goa and nsut not even pilani. in bits even a chemical sutdent can get a 20+lpa package if his cg is 7+ and is decent at coding. in nsut branches after ece are simply faltu. only nsut cs and it are comparable with bits. there are far more companies visiting bits for different roles. all nsut placements are it based, in bits you have option for product, business, finance and core. in eee anybody with decent cgpa 7.5+ can get intership in texas instruments, nvidia etc and get a ppo of 20+ while all nsit circuit students rely on coding for placements. with a minor degree finance placements also become cakewalk in bits and its easy to bag 15-20lpa. all this was about placements now lets come to education. bits is more focussed on academics, there are multiple quizes every week and students are in constant touch with academics, 0% percent attendance is big advantage as students can focus more on subjects they like, while in other colleges most students are forced to attend classes and are wasting most of their day in classes. and nsut students study 1week in whole semester so obviously academics is shit there, only because top rankers take admission there it has a name otherwise nsut is shitty college. bits develops a student even a msc bio student who didn't even clear jee advanced has opportunity to bag the highest package and i know students from dual degree with 40lpa in microsoft, nutanix etc. 4 years in colleges like nsut, dtu is complete waste if student doesn't take extra coding coaching he can't even get placed because college does nothing except bringing companies. now fees is a big issue but bits provides merit cum need scholarships to the needy and you can save 3-4lakhs easily if your cg is 6+ and 7-8lakhs if cg is 8+. plus in 4th year your 1sem goes into intership and summer break goes into sip(internship) where you a get stipend and ppo opportunity according to cgpa, 7+ can get 50-80k stipend and 8+ can get 1-1.5L/month so again you save 3-6lakhs and if dual degree 6-10lakhs from dual ps(internship). so if student is meritorious he can very easily afford bits fee. also 20-25lakh no colateral loan is also very easy to get for bits and when average package is 15-20+lpa you can easily pay loan in 5-10years duration without even realising that you're paying a loan. and lets not even go to the college life lol, my bro is always envious of me when i describe my bits goa life. so in short if you want success and also love fun in life go for bits if you want to save money and college is nothing more than placements for you then nsit, dtu.
If you are going to talk about innovation then BITS is no where close to IITs even IITH is doing exceptionally great in this regard. BITS has excellent enterprenuership culture not so much in innovation.

Nhi bhai iss baar bhi aisa hi hua, many of my friends left iit kgp mech/kanpur mech for pilani eee and similar branches in new iits for similar branches in pilani campus. Two guys left iit at 2800 for msc eco. Fees bits ki hamesha se zyada rhi hai. Fees 22 lakh hai not 25 and in cs pilani mostly are under 3k in advanced. iss baar iits ka peer group kaafi bekar ho gya hai due to increase in seats as cutoffs of some branch in iit roorkee, bhu were around 14-15 k for general, now think for reserved guys.

But non core me pilani far better hai iit roorkee, guwahati, bhu and other iits, nits etc. Companies like mckinsey, bain, bcg, credit suisse, jP Morgan, goldman sachs IB role go to only top 5 iits and pilani campus but not to iitr/g.

Placements wise pilani is in league of iit b, d, madras, kanpur. But pilani definitely has better placements than iitr/g. In non core like finance, consulting, there is not much roles in iitr/g but in pilani you get much more opportunities

I think he has done right for choosing bitspillani as BITS gives u innovative idea while IIT for only package not for innovation
If you are going to talk about innovation then BITS is no where close to IITs even IITH is doing exceptionally great in this regard. BITS has excellent enterprenuership culture not so much in innovation.

Physics: HC Verma (atleast) + Coaching Material OR DC Pandey Level 1
Mathematics: RD Sharma (atleast) + Coaching Material OR Cengage Concept Application Exercises

Pilani cs ko chod kar nit trichy cs mene koi dekha nhi hai, chutiye hi hote hain aise😂😂

Nhi bhai iss baar bhi aisa hi hua, many of my friends left iit kgp mech/kanpur mech for pilani eee and similar branches in new iits for similar branches in pilani campus. Two guys left iit at 2800 for msc eco. Fees bits ki hamesha se zyada rhi hai. Fees 22 lakh hai not 25 and in cs pilani mostly are under 3k in advanced. iss baar iits ka peer group kaafi bekar ho gya hai due to increase in seats as cutoffs of some branch in iit roorkee, bhu were around 14-15 k for general, now think for reserved guys.
@@namans8982 what do you think pilani CSE vs Roorkee CSE in terms of placement ? Maine har video mein dekha hai top 10 CS ka humasha pilani ko upar rakhte h Roorkee se, don't know why
@@neverxgiveup315 bhai roorkee aur pilani almost same hain placements me, iit k ke equal hai almost. But non core me pilani far better hai iit roorkee, guwahati, bhu and other iits, nits etc. Companies like mckinsey, bain, bcg, credit suisse, jP Morgan, goldman sachs IB role go to only top 5 iits and pilani campus but not to iitr/g.

@@neverxgiveup315 pilani, iitr/g are in same league but due to fees people prefer iitr/g for same branch but before 2016 opposite is the case. Placements wise pilani is in league of iit b, d, madras, kanpur. But pilani definitely has better placements than iitr/g. In non core like finance, consulting, there is not much roles in iitr/g but in pilani you get much more opportunities
