  • Watch as we put the RhinoAG REBEL 48 Rotary Tiller to work preparing our garden for Spring Planting. RhinoAG REBEL 48 is a Forward Rotation Tiller but like all REBEL Series Tillers have the ability to convert to Reverse Rotation. No need to decide which rotation you need at purchase because you can choose after purchase. Either rotation does a great job the number 1 difference is Forward Rotation Provides more protection as it can walk over obstructions and Reverse Rotation benefit is burying more residue. You can make that decision after purchase with RhinoAG.

Nice demo Doug; That Rhino Rebel 48 Rotary Tiller looks pretty stout, & versatile. Thanks again for the demo.

Ìf I may 2 questions, first, was the tiller at full depth, second was the tractor at lowest ground speed, just curious.

In the first pass the tiller was not set to full depth when my dad drove the tractor. On the second pass when I drove it was set lower almost to max depth probably 2/3 depth. I ran in Turtle Range and was not the slowest speed. The Slower you till the more it will pulverize the soil. Had plenty of power in turtle (mid Range) and did not feel the need to use Snail (lowest Range) when I drove.

I've got a garden about that size and till with a 3hp 2-stroke 14" wide rototiller..!

You can do that too. But it's nice to be able to sit in the seat and not have to work at tilling the garden let the RhinoAG REBEL do the work for you. Especially when the ground is hard and dry and the hand tiller wants to buck and bounce. Plus can till the whole garden in a few minutes. 48" tiller versus 14" is about 3.5 Times Faster.

@@VahrenbergImplement Don't get me wrong, if I had a compact tractor I'd certainly use it for tilling and a few other chores but the size of my property (just under one acre) doesn't justify one.
