- Well technically, it's not no hands but you get the idea. Algoriddim hit me up with their new AIRDJ/Gesture Based DJ update. It utilises Apple's Bionic Chips and Machine Learning to allow you to mix simply with the gestures you make with your hands.

I've had a cousin constantly ruining my mixing once by sneaking behind me and touching the platters. If anyone gets in the booth, they can ruin your mixing regardless.

As an uninitiated person to the world of professional DJing, i think stuff like this is super cool. It might not be a replacement for professional gear but to call it a toy seems a bit exaggerated. Over quarantine, i wanted to play around with DJing as a hobby but i didnt want to sink loads of money into gear only to realize that its not for me. I opted to get a VR headset instead and decided to pick up TribeVR to get the DJ experience. I wouldnt have even attempted to dabble with DJing if it weren’t for software like the one you’re using. the point that i’m trying to make is that the value of virtualized hardware like this is that it lowers the barrier to entry, especially if its deployed on a tablet or a phone which many people already have. Love the channel, thanks for doing stuff like this

How do I enable this feature? I have the very latest version of iOS for my iPad Pro 12.9" as well as the latest Neuralmix DJAY software.

This is a really cool concept but doesn't really feel like DJing hahaha! And there are huge cons to that kind of feature like what if someone waves his hand on the device and messes up your mix. 😆

It's gimmicky but it's also a neat concept
This seems to be waaay less fun than djing with a controller or or decks (cdjs or turntables) and a mixer.
I NEED somethig to touch yo^^ Thats the fun part for me at least. Twisting knobs, touching the records etc.
But if he can do it like this.... but who remembers "beamz" and "grandmaster" jay? ahahahahahahaha this really gives me those vibes. But I havent tried it so I dont really knw.
