That's hard to say,@@runningcountries . We have many beautiful cities. I live near Cologne, which is the third biggest city in Germany. Of course Berlin is very interesting because of its unique history. I guess the smaller ones with pitoresque houses are more charming. Like Rothenburg o. T. or Freiburg. I really don't know where to start tbh.

@@runningcountries I have never (never will) eaten perch (A boney coarse fish), but all these Wisconsinites rave about it, especially the ones from the South of the US who eat anything ... I actually spend $4,000 just to fly to Yorkshire twice a year for fresh Icelandic haddock cooked Yorkshire style... Flour and water batter, deep fried in beef dripping. In Canada I was told (in an ersatz 'British' fish shop), that dripping is ILLEGAL in Canada and they cook it in used Chinese oil ! Yorkshire gets it's Icelandic fish in ice but not frozen... ps London fish and chips are mostly cod and are rubbish... Cod flesh is full of worms and fish shops put them in fresh water overnight until the worms come out. I can't get to Yorkshire right now coz her bloody cat is terminally ill.... Drat !

I did not find Reykjavik boring at all. There is a very active arts and music scene.
