Thankyou once again for showing off my favourite city in the world, and I've been to most of the ivcon cities . It was a great concept to visit all the food courts in the CBD , it gives visitors an idea where they can eat without spending a whole lot of money . What you didn't show and I wonder if anyone else noticed was the lack of litter anywhere, no hawkers trying to rip of tourists, no touts ,no panhandlers begging for change , no homeless or obvious drug addicts, no gangs of juvenile delinquents hanging out and no visible police presence . Of course I'm not naive a lot of these things exist but its rare and more or less away from the inner city . 😊
Looks like a fantastic and vibrant shopping centre and very clean too. I have only visited Sydney a couple of times and that was back in August 1979 when I was in the Royal Navy. I know I went to the city centre during that time but I am struggling to recognise anything, which is hardly surprising I suppose after 44 years. Great video though 🙂
Although Sydney lost some real treasures particularly in the 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s, it has also retained a lot. I used to visit regularly many years ago when I lived in Australia and still recognise a lot even though overall it.looks very different.
The shopping center and the city center have likely evolved and modernized, creating a vibrant and dynamic urban environment. It's wonderful that you have fond memories of visiting Sydney during your time in the Royal Navy, and it's great that you enjoyed the video showcasing the city's changes

@@christelledeo7528 I was born in Australia but have lived in London for the past 25 years. Though Melbourne has many attractions I always preferred Sydney. Must return soon and check out both cities again.
