- This is a Carnatic Vocal Arangetram of Chi. Vidyut Prasad, disciple of Vid. Amrutha Venkatesh, accompanied on the Violin by Vid. Rajeev Mukundan and on the Mridangam by Vid. Arjun Ganesh. The concert was held at Carlson Theatre, Bellevue in the presence of Vid. Ganesh Rajagopalan as the Chief Guest and Smt. Latha Pat as Guest of Honor. We also had a lot of performing artists and young musicians in the audience as well.

He is highly talented child, happy that he was trained extremely well by one of our greatest Musicians Smt.Amrutha Venkatesh (other than earlier Acharyas )from Namma Bengaluru whose concert I never miss in CZcams. Very well organised programme. As every Vidhwans mentioned this is the first step & praying for his future to become a very great Vidhwan. Dheerghaayushman bhava. Heartiest congratulations to Vidyut's parents. I listened to the katcheri sitting in my room from Chennai. I am a Bharathanatyam dancer from Kalakshetra headed by Smt.RukminimDevi Arundale during the early 1950 till mid 1960. The greatest Vidhwans were there starting from Tiger Sri Varadachariyar, Mysore Sri.Vasudevachar, Veenai Sambasiva Aiyyar, Budalur Sri.Krishnamurthy Sastry, Sri.Papanasam Sivan, Sri.M.D.Ramanathan, Turayur Sri.Rajagopala Sarma , my sammandi. Sri.D.Pasupthi, Sri.T.K.Ramswamy Ayyangar & Mylapore Gowri Amma who taught Padams & Jawalis for Bharathanatyam students other than than brilliant Samskruta Pandits Natyacharyars. I am really very happy to hear dear Vidyut's Sangeetha Arangetram. Arangam in Tamil is the stage & etram means first performance in Samskrutham it's Ranga pravesa. Thank you.
